It’s a studio apartment that’s been converted into a hotel room. I came in later (around 8pm) and there’s a pin for the front door where the check-in desk is so I had to wait like 15 min until a resident exited before I was able to get inside. Good location and decent for a one-night business trip.

Space looks bigger than the actual space. No TV in the room.

Beautiful hotel

I appreciate that there was a 24 hr presence at the front desk for security reasons. Having to enter a code to enter the building at night can present it's own safety concerns because your back is turned while you try and enter a 6 digit code. Better to issue a key card for the building. While the kitchen and bathroom were updated and the bed was comfortable and the bedroom was full of light and there's in-unit laundry, the rest of the apartment is REALLY dated. I mean the furniture belongs on the curb. There are dents and dings everywhere (doors, baseboards)! The whole interior needs painting and the furniture and art needs to be updated. It just felt sad. So, tough to rate. If they would update the interior space, it would actually be pretty nice. Be clear: there are zero amenities here. This is like having an apartment with a doorman.

We spoke to the front desk in the morning after the first instance however the attendant appeared less than bothered that our nights sleep had been disrupted so abruptly. While the amenities are adequate (we used the washer and dryer during our stay, between normal hours), I would avoid this property if you value your sleep as unruly guests are not to be kept in check by property management.

The staff was AWESOME!! Thanks a bunch and a big shout out to Jordan!!! Thank you also the other young lady from over nights with the red hair (sorry I forgot your name)…they were both way beyond helpful! The bed was comfy! The stove top wouldn’t get hot enough to boil water & grease for what I was cooking…? the water pressure was very weak. It says no smoking but there was definitely a burn mark in the floor, and the bathroom door/wall has an unsightly stain that made me want to clean it…and the lift broke during check out ?, Jordan helped me out to my car with all my junk! The price wasn’t worth it d/t the negatives stated above, however ONLY bc of the staff l’m not going to request a partial refund…

Nice place

Traveled to DC for a concert at Nationals stadium, hotel was in walking distance with plenty to do in the area. Excellent staff who went above and beyond upon our check-in and I would not hesitate to book this location again.

#2. There is a dog boarding kennel 1 block away. The dogs sleep at night but in the morning and throughout the day and evening you WILL hear dogs barking. It is incredibly annoying and I don’t know how the neighbors deal with it. #3. Bed mattress not comfortable. When you move, it sounds a mattress from a baby’s crib, but for full size adults. Won’t ever bother with this hotel again.

It was somewhat noisy, especially in the early morning. However, the hotel provided noise machine's, which was very thoughtful.

Everything went smoothly. The washing machine did not work but the front desk fellow tried to get it working. We had to wait til Monday for the maintenance guy. Both were very helpful though. The manager was great as well. We were in a one bedroom superior, with balcony. It was nice to have the balcony space. The exercise room is just okay — it’s better than nothing. One of the female front desk workers could have been a little friendlier — she was often busy on her phone and had headphones in (might have been work related). The male front desk worker was very friendly. The items (drinks and snacks) available to purchase from the machine were very reasonably priced. It was nice not to have some trying to gouge guests. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Harris Teeter and a 20 minute walk to Nats Park. Very convenient. Never felt unsafe in the area. The Navy Yard is right across the street. Love the changes that are still coming to this neighborhood. We love the convenience of a full kitchen, laundry and 2 closets. The living room furniture is a bit uncomfortable but it serves the purpose. The dining room chairs are annoying because the legs spread out and we stubbed our toes on them. But generally we love this place. It was our second time staying here.

The property was great location to Nationals Park. Safe walk there and back.

No complaints.

The staff, upon arrival, were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were updated, and the location was perfect for getting to all the activities we planned. The couch cushions were full of dog hair, the table was dirty along the edges, and the coffee maker had mold in it, so we didn't use it. The parking wasn't the best, but luckily, we got a good spot and didn't move the car the whole time we were there.

I've stayed at this property in the past. Funny thing is the last time and this time I had the exact same room. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The king size bed was very comfortable. The A/C worked very well, plenty of hot water for showering. The hotel is a block from the Navy Yard and 3 short blocks from the Marine Barracks at 8th & I. There is a Capital Bikeshare on the block, and getting around by bike is easy. There are a few restaurants in the area and a very well stocked liquor store.
