Reside NoMa, a Wyndham Residence

One drawback was that the reception desk was not open 24 hours; it operated only between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Additionally, there was no security guard at the entrance. Guests must enter the building using a code provided at check-in. This is a serious concern given the surrounding neighborhood. The area around the hotel felt unsafe and uncomfortable. We frequently saw scary individuals on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. On one evening, a homeless woman suddenly ran toward my wife, screaming without any reason, which left her extremely frightened. After that incident, we avoided going outside after the evening. In summary, while the hotel itself was clean and well equipped, the neighborhood did not feel safe. Having a security guard at the entrance might improve guest safety and overall comfort.

This is a fantastic, new and modern residence building with everything you will need for a self contained stay. The rooms are spacious and I would have given this place a higher score if it wasn’t for the downright rude behavior of Jordan, who checked me in. Jordan made sure to get me started off on my week long stay on the wrong foot. She was combative, and overall very unpleasant to deal with. She has absolutely no business working in customer service as she is a total turnoff. I felt like cancelling reservation when dealing with her nasty attitude, but my booking was non-refundable. However, on a brighter note, Katelyn, another front desk attendant was totally and completely friendly and customer service oriented. She and the other young ladies working the front desk made me feel welcome enough to stay for an entire week. I would also note that Jordan was so mean and unprofessional that she refused to greet me whenever she was on duty. Very off-puttting indeed and if it wasn’t for the other lovely young front desk attendants and even the friendly housekeeping staff, I would have given this place a worse score. Jordan, the young lady who masquerades as a customer service worker.

No breakfast There is no sign on the building stating it is the hotel and uber could not locate it which took me 2 Ubers and an hour to locate it. I had to be let in by the manager since the door was door was locked this is a very questionable location., as a single women traveling alone I did not like waiting for someone to come to let me in.

It was clean and well stocked. The front desk was very helpful. I liked that I could text with any questions. There wasn't a bar or anything to hold onto in the shower. There was no parking and I couldn't figure out how to get in the parking lot across the street. No vending machines meant we had to go out for anything.

Like that it was like saying in an apartment. Staff wasn’t helpful, poor cellular service, room was not well maintained, and location was in an unsafe neighborhood.

Room could use some upgrades, overall it was functional.

A new apartment-style hotel located within walking distance to metro station, Union Market, Union Station, and the convention center. Tons of restaurants not too far away. The room is huge, with plenty of amenities, especially in-unit washer/dryer. Also appreciate the smart TV and the full-size fridge. Service was quick, but the cleanliness of the room could be improved.

We appreciate the location for many near-by shopping & eating choices, the travel options & the spacious room. Note:1 safety concern: hallway rug is trip/fall hazard. Noise issues: plumbing!!! & traffic (Are any spaces more quiet?)

The room and the staff was excellent. Shoutout to kaitlyn, great customer service. I will definitely book again..

The staff there were very friendly in general, but especially the front desk attendant was extra helpful and had a nice disposition every time I saw her which was refreshing in the midst of the things I was going through (personally, not related to the stay). She was kind to my children and like I said I was overwhelmed the whole trip so staying here was a nice pause from chaos.

Nice apartment. Loud partying in building. Homeless people all over outside. Fire trucks and ambulances passing by. Lots of traffic noise Creepy someone's stalking me vibe while in apartment. Not a very comfortable stay. Next.

The hotel refuse to provide an invoice, which is causing me problems to justify the expense to my bosses. The hotel don't accept Google Pay for the deposit. The place could be cleaner and the location is not the best in the city.

No one ever answers the phone.

Hotel was great, no complaints. Area can be a little rough around the edges. Has the feeling of a former run-down neighborhood that is in the middle of a gentrification. There are some nice buildings in the area mixed in with some old run down buildings. Heard there is a shelter somewhere nearby, so you may come across some interesting people. Overall, positive experience
