Ramada by Wyndham Watertown/Thousand Islands NY

I was checked in on Sept 21st for 1 day and decided to stay 6 extra days there was info that said that after 3 days of stay I needed to request to have my room cleaned and receive clean towels and change the bedding. no show had to request again even asked the people who was cleaning the room next to me about them also cleaning my room. NO SHOW So I decided to check out 2 days early, I was waiting for the desk clerk to check me out and she told me she couldn't and I'm like WHY? she says she didn't know how. I couldn't even get a copy of my billings she took my email address and also got my phone # and said someone will check in with me. as of todays date no response

Good restaurant in walking distance Staff are professional

Every thing and everyone were very nice and helpful.

The place meets minimal expectations. Primarily the room and bed were clean, which is what I needed most. The rest of the building is old (probably built in the '70's) so it shows its age in places. The hallway carpeting on the 2nd floor was pretty stained-up; could use a good shampooing. Not sure how other floors looked. Inside the room there were chips in the bathtub finish and on the floor tile, just due to being old but still usable. Ottoman had shoe stains on it. Otherwise, the room was clean so that's most important. The thing that bothered me most is the room's flooring was fake hardwood. Wasn't most pleasant to step on a cold floor in the morning. Plus I'm sure that fake hardwood doesn't help muffle noises from other rooms. No other guests were obnoxiously loud but I did wake up to my neighbor getting up/scuffling around his-or-her room at 4AM. I'm sure that noise would've been significantly less IF our rooms had carpet in them. But the fake hardwood was clean and dust-free so that's most important! Breakfast was good - scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, cereals (I had raisin bran), apples, toast, bagles, orange/apple juice dispenser, lemon water, coffee...enough choices to get your day started. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I only contacted them for check-in, later when I couldn't remember my room number, another time when my room card quit working, and check-out; all positive interactions. In all, not the Four Seasons, but worth crashing at for a weekend.

The location is convenient and many shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast may be better if there are more selection.

Bed out of date. Breakfast simple as .......

Everything was very clean and neat. However only one elevator was working and of course it was on the opposite end of the building from our room. The ice machines on most of the floors wasn't working. And the elevator that was working was missing some screws from the ceiling allowing it to bounce a bit as the elevator started or stopped moving. Breakfast was always the same scrambled eggs with sausage. 3 choices of bread, Pancakes, 2 cereals, small muffins, apples, juice or coffee. In your room their is no hand soap so you had to either use the body wash/shampoo or bring your own.

The hotel is well located from everything

It was alright, pool out of service, other than that is just a spot to sleep and go

The employees need to be recognized! Their desire to make sure we were cared for! The breakfast this morning was busy! The caretakers were busy keeping everything stocked! A shoutout to all as our stay in the midst of visiting family was exceptional!

Parking is great. Location is great. I think staff are welcoming and pleasant. I was dosappointes to arrive to a hair ball in my room, makeup covered pillowcase and spoder webs on the lamps. I'm not a complainer and you get what you pay for.

No toiletries in the bathroom

The bathtub did not drain well. I reported it to maintenance for repair. The hallway carpet was dirty. Otherwise, the facility was great.

What we did not appreciate was the bathroom door lock not working properly. My wife got locked in bathroom. If you closed the door it could not be open from inside or outside. We did manage to get it open but I can Imagine a child or a person alone going into a panic. Also in the room there was no facial tissues which is rather unusual. The 4th floor elevator call button was not working either. Seems like they got problems with the elevators. When we checked in on our previous stay on July 9th the elevator was not working either, Fortunately we were on the 2nd floor then. All in all, it was not a bad stay, however a few things need to be corrected.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was large and very clean, bed was very comfortable. Lobby was clean and tidy, but hallway carpets need to be cleaned. Overall a very positive experience
