Location, price, cleanliness, pet friendly with reasonable pet fee, laundry facilities The door to the outside slammed very loudly and it could be heard in our 2nd floor room which was a bit unnerving when trying to sleep.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, great location. We loved the fresh baked cookies in the evenings. There is a nice kitchenette with full size fridge, 2 burner stove, sink, and microwave. Unfortunately, they do not provide cookware, dishes, glassware, or flatware. That was disappointing since we planned on cooking breakfast there. We ended up with microwaved breakfast biscuits.

I have stayed at this property before and had been very impressed with its cleanliness and attention to detail, so I chose to stay here again a year later. Unfortunately, this time the quality had dropped a bit. The room was fairly clean but the sheets and towels had some stains on them, which is a total turnoff for me. I was given some new towels but was disappointed that overall the property had taken a decline in it’s quality and cleanliness!

While it is nice to have a kitchenette. There is literally nothing in the cupboards or drawers. Bring pans, dinnerware, cutlery, etc… all the items needed to cook.

Highly recommend for a clean, comfortable stay with everything you could need at your fingertips. Friendly staff is at-the-ready to help with any requests. From now on, this is our go-to place in Watertown, SD.
