Courtyard by Marriott Wausau

Nice clean hotel with freindly staff.

Everything about our stay including the staff, location, cleanliness, fitness center and onsite bistro were exceptional! The only improvement would be an indoor pool and hot tub. There was nothing we didn't like about our stay.

The room and the overall facility is well maintained and well appointed. The staff is top notch everyone from the front end staff and the restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel.

Although there is a fee for the food it was priced very reasonably & the variety of options were fantastic! They cook everything to order which I appreciated, It came out in a timely manner & was absolutely delicious. The staff were all very kind, welcoming & accommodating to myself as well as other guests & our needs. I will be booking with Mariott in the future thanks to this wonderful experience.

We would have had a great experience if we had not been treated so poorly by Katrina, the employee hosting the entrance of the hotel. We had purchased breakfast, but the kitchen was closed in the morning due to the winter blizzard. I entered the dining area and apparently I had crossed some line I was not supposed to behind the counter. She immediately began yelling at me and telling me that I could not have any breakfast. I told her she was rude and should have approached the situation differently and she replied that it was only my perception. A great experience was ruined by her and unfortunately we will not be back. We come frequently in the winter and have stayed at other hotels and will not be coming back:-(

Staff during check-in was really nice and courteous. The restaurant staff was awesome... I loved their friendliness and their ability to accomodate special needs. The staff at the time of check-out was mean and almost rude. We were to leave at 1:30, we were able to return only by 1:38, and I did tell her that we left some stuff in the room, but instead of her having a staff accompany us and get our stuff from the room, she made it a huge deal, she then got the room number wrong which I clearly told her was 319, she said that she heard it was 309 and said that there wasn't anything in there. I was furious by her attitude and repeated myself and she did not accept her mistake but kept claiming that I told her 319. She finally let the maintenance staff accompany us and get our stuff from the room. We were having a great time until this, I am glad it was towards the end of our stay else it would have soured our entire time there.

Breakfast is not free. My fault for missing that detail. But I did enjoy the breakfast options that were provided.

Very clean rooms and lobby. Quite location and friendly staff Micheal at check in was fantastic. I don’t have any complaints. I was very impressed.

The room was so clean. Beds are comfy. Bedding is amazing. Staff couldn't have been kinder or more helpful when my Expedia reservation dates were incorrect. Top notch experience from someone who has stayed at 5 star hotels all over the world. This will be my go-to hotel in Wausau.
