Check in/out was easy. Property is tired. Carpets in hallways very spotted. Rust and crud in shower door corners. Paint chipping wher housekeeping carts hit. Parking lot has many cracks. We have stayed in Motel 6 property at half the cost that we’re better maintained.

Clean rooms with very comfortable beds, pillows and linens. I stayed the night after a surgery and slept like a rock. The room was so cozy and quiet. Breakfast the next morning was good with many choices. Free onsite parking and friendly staff. I would definitely stay again.

The staff were amazing. Rooms were very clean and all provided items were well-stocked. The window treatment did not shut out an incredibly bright security light that shone into the room all night long. It did not allow for sleep at all. Very disappointed. Change the window treatment to allow for blackout of lights. I’d have rated this MUCH higher had that not been an issue.

The room was beautiful and very comfortable, and the bathroom with the bathtub-size, modern shower was great. Friendly front desk staff and good breakfast. The whirlpool was underwhelming but not terrible -- not hot at all. I would definitely stay there again.

2 small things I found different but not serious. For breakfast there was no salt or pepper for taste. Our room while kept clean and stocked our dirty towels piled up. Again, neither item was in anyway an issue that would cause me to complain or not suggest others to stay at the Wausau Hampton Inn.

Vastly different from the advertised reviews and pictures. Smelled like old cigarettes and fabreeze, beds were in horrible co dition, overall was not clean at all property is located on a freeway on ramp.
