Fantastic historic home, carefully modernised without compromising any of the original. You feel like the guest of the original wealthy owner, rather than a customer. Spacious comfortable room with great shower. Probably the most comfortable “hotel” bed ever. Located 5 minutes walk from downtown restaurants, the river and the great local galleries. The host is a genuine “character” who knows his trade well and has you and fellow guests feeling like friends. Super and different breakfast each of the 3 days we stayed. Easy parking on site. Couldn’t recommend this “B and B” highly enough, the over used term “boutique” genuinely applies here. Loved our stay. Leaving

It was incredible. It would have been a good value at twice the price. A historic home by a well-known architect; a fabulous host; excellent breakfast; and within walking distance of good dining.

Buster the Inn dog-keeper was so sweet. I even had a great experience with a local nail salon! They got me in quick and did an awesome job!! Loved our time there.

I loved the atmosphere. The way the caretaker took care of us was amazing. The food was amazing. The way they made you feel at home and cared for you and your stay honestly will be the reason I go back more. Loved everything.

This historical home was exceptionally comfortable, beautifully maintained with high quality linens, fantastic hosts, extraordinary 3-course breakfast and amenities such as an afternoon wine tasting. Conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. We loved EVERYTHING about The Stewart Inn. Everything was perfect. Not one complaint!
