Beautiful Hotel! We had a suite and it was so comfortable. Only complaint is shower very small but it had a huge jet tub. Overall very happy with everything. Restaurants in walking distance plus their on-site restaurant Char. We dined at Ciao which was around tge corner and highly recommend it.

This hotel is fantastic. The front desk lady was super kind and very welcoming. She answered all my questions and had a great sense of humor too. The room itself was more than I expected and there were plenty of towels, toiletries, and also glassware in the little kitchenette, very nice. Everything was very clean, including the hallways and common areas, and the property was clearly well maintained. The building has a lot of character and feels like a real part of the community. Made me feel welcomed as a visitor to the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Location and the amount of room space. Love that my request for special pillows was met. Views were great Place seemed empty and a tad depressing. But less people was a very nice thing. Hated the lighting in the bathroom. With so much space in this particular room, designers should have consider enlarging the shower and toilet area. I really don’t need a jacuzzi as I never used it. Very poor lighting in the toilet and shower area. Shower itself provides the potential of slipping and falling. Might want to place something on the shower floor to prevent slipping. Also hate that the restaurant closes early on a Saturday night.

We were checked in to a different type of room than what we booked so we ended up not having all of the amenities expected which was disappointing, but they charged us accordingly which was fair. The room was clean and well-maintained and beds were comfortable. The view from our room was HVAC equipment which wasn't great and access to the pool was inconvenient. Honestly, I expected more from our stay at Jefferson Street Inn, but at the end of the day it is a great location conveniently located to several charming businesses and activities. The staff that we interacted with were pleasant and very helpful.

The room was of adequate size and had a large television screen. It was standard quality in terms of accommodation. The room overlooked an alley courtyard, where a maintenance crew was using a power washer to clean an exterior HVAC vent at 11:45 PM! The hotel could do nothing to stop it as it was an adjoining business that contracted the crew. I can't get a pizza delivered past 9 PMand the hotel restaurant closes the kitchen at 9 PM, but people can get an HVAC system power washed at midnight!!! Tbey did offer to try to get another room, but gathering your belongings and shuffling to another room in the middle of the night is not that helpful for sleeping.

The suite was large and surprisingly luxurious with two fireplaces and a jetted tub! We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed it. It's a nice walkable neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shopping.

Clean rooms! A great place to stay if you want to enjoy the fun downtown. Easy walking distance to great shopping and dining.

Very nice place to stay downtown. Everything is in order and it’s so great to be right in downtown Wausau that you really don’t realize how comfortable you are until you’re there.

Beautiful hotel! Told us about breakfast time but never it wasn’t included in the rate. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting. Eggs were gray, everything so overcooked inedible. Danish was mini hostess powder sugar doughnuts. At $15 a person, Char should be embarrassed to serve that. They did give us a deal by taking 2 of 6 breakfasts of, but no any of us would’ve paid for that.

Toilet/shower “stall” very small, lots of unused space. Pillows uncomfortable and bed quite soft for my liking. Restaurant closed.
