Best Western Plus Waxahachie Inn & Suites

One day my room was not cleaned. Other days and everything else was good.

Our trip was just a quick overnight stay, but the room was very nice and clean. Had a good night's sleep and the staff was kind enough to let us have a late check out. Recommend.

Mostly it was clean and good for the price. The first morning we were there (Thursday), the lady managing the breakfast bar was extremely friendly, helpful, and on top of things. The next two days were someone else and a lot of things ran out and took a long time to be refilled, and it was not as clean. The room and bathroom were very clean, except for the shower. Hard to tell if it was just old or actually as grungy as it looked. Either way, hard to enjoy getting clean when the shower doesn’t even look clean. Our toddler had an accident and we had to ask for new linens our last day there. The room was done up well after housekeeping came in, except that the sheets on the bed were still damp. Had to do naptime on top of the comforter and then leave them pulled back to air out before bedtime. We did get our stay at a special price and was very affordable. I probably would not pay full price to stay again, but would consider it worth it on special.

Clean property in a great location with plenty of restaurants nearby.

All was great, was a bit frustrated to see a couple getting off the elevator with a couple of dogs. Reason we like Best Western is no pet policy.

Hotel not very well kept. Room was mostly clean but the bathroom fan didn't work which made the room feel moist at times. Hallways seemed dirty and could use an update. Some furniture was wet when we checked in perhaps from the air conditioner or cleaning. Breakfast area was small and there was lots of travelers so sometimes they ran out or there was a wait for food or tables. Suite is not that large thought it would be two rooms but just one with a small seating area. Staff wasn't always around but friendly when we interacted.

The hotel was poorly maintained in many areas. The wallpaper in the bathroom was coming loose, as well in the hallways. The hallways also smelled of pot and smoke and there were fans running in the hallway to dry the spotty carpet.

Breakfast was made less pleasant by the TV set to FOX the whole time. No one was watching, so why even have it on? Similarly, when you walk in the door, the view right across from the front doors isn't the reception desk but the dining room where FOX news is still on. Does BW get paid to have this crap on all hours? (FWIW I don't think they should show left-leaning news, either.)

Very clean basic comfortable room at a good price. Perfect for our road trip.

Room was clean and already cooled when entering. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the window shade that blocked out all the light from outside. The breakfast was good and had everything you could want in a breakfast. Easy check in check out. The fitness room had more equipment than other places I've stayed. Could use more space.

Coach was very dated and stained, floor could use a good mopping. Lamp shades was damaged or dirty.
