About Village by the Sea
Featuring an on-site fitness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, Village By The Sea is located in Wells. This resort offers a hotel feel in a home-like condominium. Each unit has a full kitchen, living room and patio or balcony. Our fully equipped kitchen has a full size fridge, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. We are not a 24-hour business but are available by phone for in house guests 24/7. Our property offers free parking as well for up to two cars per unit. Ogunquit Beach and Kennebunkport are both 13 minute drives from Village by the Sea.

My family and I enjoyed the size of the space. It was very clean. We didn’t like that we had small children running back and forth above us. It was loud. It would have been better if the sheets and blanket needed for the pull out couch were just in the unit. We didn’t think of it until it was too late to ask. We will return but definitely ask for the top floor.

The staff was really nice. We forgot our pack n play at home and they don’t carry anything in house for infants, but they gave recommendations for where we can rent one for the week we spent there, which was amazing! My wife also lost her wedding ring and we weren’t sure where we had lost it. We got a call with in an hour of us checking out that the staff found it in our room! Thank god! My family will definitely be staying there again! The only bad thing we could say is that we wished the hot tub was cleaner, but the pools were great!

Our little family has been staying here for the past couple years and each time it is absolutely amazing! Happy that our son will get to make childhood memories here. Everything was great as always.

We were able to check-in early and the front desk staff were nice. The price is super reasonable for the size of the apartment. One of the showers is way too small for an adult, but the other one was fine. If you don't want to climb stairs, ask for a first floor unit.

Check-in was a little problematic since the office closed at 5, but we finally got confirmation through Expedia about getting someone to contact us about checking in after hours. Room was clean. Washing machine did not cooperate, and after an hour of trying different settings, we finally got a full cycle to work. It would have been nice if they had a kitchen sponge, laundry detergent, and glass cleaner or other type of cleaner to keep the kitchen tidy. Other than that, the kitchen is fairly well-equipped. The bedrooms are not vented and were quite stuffy on warm days. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.
