Couldn't have been a better place to stay. Great staff, beautiful location, close to everything. The only thing missing was breakfast.
-
I had a wonderful stay! The staff was so helpful and I felt very safe as a solo traveler!

The rooms are spacious, updated and very clean. Room 206 is perfect for sitting on the balcony overlooking the river. For boaters, canoers, kayakers, etc there is a dock on the property where you can put in. Biggest drawback is that there is no food on the property but they do have complimentary bottles of water, hot water for tea and coffee.

Large rooms, best scenic view
-
Lovely, clean room with extremely comfortable Sleep Number bed on a quiet property. We slept so well! Nothing, we wished we could've stayed longer

This is always one of my favorite places to stay when I am in that area. This hotel is absolutely spotless -- squeaky clean. The rooms are spacious, welcoming, warm, and beautifully furnished. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. It is located on the Connecticut River and the hotel is very quiet for a restful night's sleep. Nice amenities in the bathroom, refrigerator in the room, and a nice work desk for your computer. I highly recommend this hotel!

What a great discovery this place was! If your goal is to let your mind wind down and your heart to swell a bit, this is where to come. The entire staff was very friendly, and went the extra distance to meet our sudden change in plans. The area is beautiful, as is this hotel. We couldn't recommend it more! This is THE PLACE to come, for anyone trying to decide! Zero complaints!

The women Pam at the front desk was completely rude kept telling me my beef was with Expedia cause she couldn't figure out her computer. Then after she fixed it told me I need to know the problem for next time if it happens again

Every detail was perfection!

Perfect hotel on the river for a peaceful and serene mini getaway. It was very clean and spacious. I had a balcony room facing the river and it was perfect!

What a fantastic hotel- we checked in w ease and found our room to be large, updated, very clean and welcoming. We were happily surprised to have an amazing view of the river and a sleep number bed with high quality linens. In the morning we found freshly brewed coffee and cold bottled water near the gym. A must stay if you are in the area.

The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and a good size for a single person or couple. The bed was a bit hard for my liking, but that's just personal preference. There is no food of any kind in the hotel (no vending machines, no breakfast items other than coffee), but they do provide a list of local options and several are very close by. This wasn't a problem for me. Downtown Brattleboro is just a short drive away. Overall, I thought the Riverside was lovely and a great value and would stay there again.

Quiet on the river. Some dates features but good. Would stay again.

Location was excellent. Breakfast

Recommend Echo Lounge for good food and drinks. Highly recommend staying here.

It is very clean! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Quiet location. There was fresh coffee every morning. There was fresh coffee in the morning. However, it was strangely placed. Instead of placing a coffee/tea counter in the lobby and having it available 24/7, to welcome guests upon arrival, the coffee/tea is in a room in the basement, and only available from 6sm-10am. There were no amenities. No restaurant, no bar, no pool, no hot tub. It almost felt deserted.
-
Christmas lights on the balcony flooded the first floor room with light all night long. No blackout curtains. Rooms on first floor near front desk were noisy.
-
Clean room, staff is very friendly and attentive, pretty location right on the river.
-
There was no breakfast included The WiFi connection wasn’t so good

The views are beautiful and the hotel is very clean. The beds are quite uncomfortable, at least for us (very firm mattress). No food available on site during nearly all of our stay. Does have a good mini fridge if you shop ahead. Very friendly staff.
