Everything was OK

Elevators had been out for 2 days. No notice was sent. Had 3 year old who fell going up stairs and had to be caught and then carried. Older lady had to stay in room due to stairs and couldn’t do outings for dinner. Staff seemed very unconcerned Tub had not been cleaned and only 2 towels and 2 pods for guest in room

Areas of improvement: giant dead cockroach in middle of vending/ice machine room on floor one from around 5pm, and when I returned at 10pm. The snack machines were holding coffee drinks that we definitely growing something. Tub barely drained, stained towels, elevators had "out of order, will be running shortly" but during my four night duration, I was still on third (top) floor, without functioning elevators. Staff didn't offer to relocate me to first floor or offer any assistance with my two 50lb luggages or a third 20lb bag. I literally had to drag them up and down. As a petite female solo traveler, don't they think that is a little hazardous?

Hotel is pretty dated. Decent place for the price. The bed was very comfortable.

The room didn’t seem all that clean. It was a less expensive option so we knew what we booked.

GREAT STAY

I was pleasantly surprised with how kind the staff was, room was clean, breakfast was good and I will be booking here again in the future!

Water in shower lukewarm. One side of mattress had no support, I could not even lay on the side of the bed without rolling off, had to move to center and prop a pillow behind my back, the other side of mattress where my husband slept appeared to be fine. The AC unit sounded like jet planes taking off. The property said since they had to move us to another room, they had to charge us for the new room & they could not refund us for the dirty room we would have to call Expedia to get a refund, after waiting 40 minutes on hold for an associate, they told us they didn't do that the property would have to do that. Went to property help desk and was told she didn't know how to do that and would have to wait until tomorrow and have someone do it then, she did say she would work on it. No ice in the ice machine. Someone tried to get in our room Sunday morning while we were still sleeping, thank goodness we had the chain connected.

Extremely friendly staff on all shifts! Chill and laid back hotel with just the right amount of amenities.

The pool was closed and that was not communicated at check in. The breakfast was not amazing. Bathroom could be updated.

The room was clean and spacious. The advertised pool was unavailable for use as it was out of order.
