Had no hot water in the shower. parking lot needed work. The Dead bolt lock on the door was inoperable. The person staying in the adjoining room open the adjoining door late at night for reason.

location. Traveling to Iowa Park the next day. Nice patio. Pleasant staff. Easy to find. Toilet is very low. For an older person it was had to get up from the toilet. Bed was high. Setting on the bed and could not touch the floor. Stayed 2 days. No room cleaning, towels, or trash service, between days. Noisy at times. People walking around upstairs. Never found the ice.

The worst part was that I did not feel safe at all. The area around the hotel was uncomfortable, there were suspicious people hanging around, and the doors and overall security did not make me feel protected. I could not relax or sleep normally because I was worried the entire time. The photos online are extremely misleading. The actual condition of this hotel is much worse. It smells terrible, it is dirty, and it feels unsafe, especially for families with children. I would never stay here again and strongly recommend that others avoid this place. This hotel needs a serious inspection and major improvements.

The check in process was really nice. However, when my boyfriend and I went into the room there was a really bad odor. Luckily we hadn’t brought our stuff in because the bed comforter was cover and stains, the walls had brown liquid dried up on them, and my boyfriend ended up seeing a bunch of roaches in the bathroom.

The attendant was not at all friendly. The advertisement on Booking.com said breakfast was included, and he simply said there wouldn't be any. The room smelled of cigarettes.

There was a dog in the room next to us and apparently was there alone. The dog barked and when we called the front desk, they did nothing to help.
-
The bathroom wasn't 100% cleaned, and we had some noise outside our room from guests.

It was close to the interstate. My daughter (8) and I stopped there for the night on our drive through TX. We were told the room was smoke free, but neither of us could sleep because the smoke smell on the bed was so bad. The a/c never got cool, even on the coldest setting. There were roaches running across the top of the refrigerator. They had filled in the pool with rocks, not that we were going to use it. It needs a lot of work.

The person at the desk seemed annoyed that I was using hotel.com he even commenting may have to wait an hour for him to get the reservation. The room was OK but the exterior of the hotel was very unkempt. The parking lot had large holes and wasn't finished it was very hard to drive in. There was chipping on all exterior stairs and a large puddle outside my room from the AC. I wouldn't stay there again.

- The toilet stopped working halfway through the night, so I had to take the cover off and open the valve manually each time in order for the basin to fill with enough water to be able to flush. Personally I only found that to be a minor annoyance and since it didn't make it totally unusable, so I didn't bother calling to have it looked at or anything. - There were dead bugs underneath the bed, specifically against the wall under the headboard; it seemed like they had been there for a while too, since there was a decent bit of dust down there as well. But there were not many live bugs in the room as far as I saw, only a single cricket on the floor when I first arrived and a single spider on the floor when I was leaving. - The door seemed like it may have been broken into sometime in the past and the seal was still a bit damaged but that didn't seem to effect the temperature of the room at all and the locks all worked so I still felt safe. Other than those few things my stay here was pleasant and enjoyable. The furniture was comfortable and all the appliances I needed to use have functioned as intended, other than the small issue with the toilet. I greatly appreciated the accomodation of an early check in on Sunday at 7:00 AM since I had booked for Saturday night as well but couldn't make it on time to check in that day.
