Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Wichita

For the price, I got what I expected. The pool was not open or functional. The blow dryer in the room overheated and almost caught fire. The place had a smell.

It was nice and well kept. The staff were very nice and friendly. I wish they had a bigger parking lot to fit trucks and trailers but I’m sure they do too!

No elevator with a room on the second floor. We could not stay as we would not be able to get our suitcases up the stairs. They did refund our prepayment without issue.

The toilet seat was not attached right and moved all over the place. There were no sheets on the bed…just a bedspread and mattress cover.

Advertises a pool. The pool is closed with weeds growing 10’ tall all around it. Property is run down. Smells like someone is cooking a buffet line in the lobby.

Didn’t like anything about the hotel. The breakfast, the room, the hotel smelled terrible. There was a hole in the comforter on the bed. The tv only worked when I asked the front desk to come fix it. I will never stay at a days inn again.

I couldn’t get past the filthy doors and lobby to check in.

One of the first things I saw as the ottoman between the chairs. Some of the cloth around the ottoman was torn and missing. Not a good look. A new ottoman would not cost that much. When I took my dog out back to do her business, I noticed there were several bags of garbage half open laying out. This would be something that is easily taken care of. The faucet at the sink did turn on, but the handle was loose--very loose. I could not get the water to go to hot, so a cold shave. That is something that could be easily fixed. I probably will skip this one next time I'm in Wichita.

There were lots of reviews regarding the smell, there is a smell but I don't blame this on the hotel because the outside has a similar smell. The room was clean and quite comfortable. We had no issues while staying here. The breakfast was a bit mediocre with not too many options however provide basic choices ie cereal, waffle, biscuit and gravy, muffins and breads. Overall we were pretty satisfied staying here.

The room was clean and the staff was very nice had breakfast had no problems had no issues checking in or out. say it was a good experience.

The room we filthy. Almost out of toilet paper and had a fake nail on the bathroom floor. The pull out couch was next to nothing and there were no sheets or pillows put up for it. It was really quiet and ok for a quick over stay though

My wife and I woke up with bites all along the side we slept on.

So over all it was a good stay.

The shower was rusty. The sink was horrible and it took 5 minutes to get warm (not hot) water. The pool wasn't open. The breakfast had nothing hot unless you made a waffle. No eggs or breakfast meats. Even toaster barely got bread hot, but not toasted. Entire place smelled of an Indian bazaar. Nothing wrong with an Indian bazaar, but not what you expect in a hotel at this price. Landscaping was weeds. The card keys had to be reprogrammed three times in three days. No tissues in the room.

Location was great. I stay here every time I travel here for work or leisure. The staff are amazing people and kind as can be. Will be a loyal resident to this place when traveling. The receptionist is very sweet and accommodating. N/a
