Economy Hotel Wichita- Florence St.

It was the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen.

There were people drinking and smoking outside all over the motel. The room beside us had old computer chairs set up outside to hang out on. And they did, a lot, all night, loudly. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Much less female travelers.

It had a fire and the reception area was disgusting. The staff person was cold and offered us to view the room first. We did and it was nasty. We choose to take a refund and left.

The price We paid for a 2 week stay and on the 2nd day the manager went into our room while we were at work and said she found some marijuana and kicked us out. We didn't have any marijuana, she said she had pictures but refused to show me. So we basically paid $600 for 1 night stay. We paid cash so I think that was the deal to pocket the money

Property was run down but the room and comfortable and was good for the price.

They didn't have breakfast. We got put out after 30 min. The manager was rude and cussed me and my daughter out for no reason and threatened to call the police on us. Then wouldn't give me a refund. The manager and her attitude

Absolutely nothing about this place is friendly the first time I stayed during a snow storm and had no heat this time we had bedbugs and boogers on the wall Everything. I'm not a Karen but they need better people to take this over place was disgusting and cost more than my quoted price

This hotel is not represented on the site properly. The outside next to the main office is burnt up, possibly a drug related issue. The room had red stuff in the carpet, melted plastic on the carpet. The bathroom just had running water that could not be turned off. The toilet seat was very gross, so dirty I did not want to even pee in there. The sheets had dirt on them and on the pillowcases. This is a hotel you stay at if you want bed bugs. It is disgusting. The receptionist seemed like she got high between us checking in and seeing our room. And when we left they commented “Not again” yet didn’t refund any of the money we paid. We left and went to Comfort Inn which was way better and my kids could actually relax after three days of being on the road. Do not stay here if you are not a crack head.

The room needs a lot of cleaning and a lot of maintenance. The sheets were dirty. The bathroom ceiling is missing tiles, the microwave is missing the plate, the furniture looked like it was gathered from the dump, pillows were lumpy, room was so full of cigarette smoke smell that I smelled like a cigarette. I had to wash everything when I arrived home. Towels are small and hard. No soaps or shampoos. No cups. Comforter was as thing as the sheet. Was scared to sleep on the bed so went to Walmart and bought a blanket to sleep on. Will not stay there again. Honestly, it needs to be closed down.

The price was the only thing I liked, but I guess you get what you pay for. The cleanliness of the room was subpar, the bedding hadn't been changed, there was one towel in the room and the entire hotel was completely out of toilet paper.

Friendly staff running donations for those in need Everything. No heat .No extra heavy blankets. No toilet paper.no plug in heat source.
