MainStay Suites Wichita Northeast

Clean room, pleasant staff,

Con: the hallway smelled terrible!

Nice area but the hotel could use some upgrades

Location Nothing other than the way the city planned entrance and exits. No fault of the motel

I arrived at 7:30 p.m. after a six-hour drive, the last two through blinding rain storms. The clerk could not find my reservation. Upon more digging, she found that the general manager had canceled my reservation earlier due to overbooking. There were no efforts to find a room find me , and they never contacted me or alterted hotels.com. unprofessional and unethical. Avoid this property.

The staff was great. The room itself was musty. There were mold spots all across the ceiling! It appeared that the front desk staff was also the housekeeping staff! Those poor ladies were definitely overworked, yet they were very kind and hospitable. The hallways had dead crickets and property leaves something to be desired.

Very helpful and understanding staff during the visit

The 3rd started out like I hit the lottery with icecold AC, but 2 days later they move in the kennal club in the room right below me with at least 3 dogs!!!! 2 days back and forth with complaints to to the front desk about the whimpering and barking. Got a break for 3 days then on the 13th one dog had a barking spell around 9:00pm at night when I was getting that power nap for the early get up to check out at 2:00am.

I’m really not too picky, but this place was the definition of a roach motel. I was stuck here for a week. For just $50 more, I went to a much newer and nicer place for the next week!

The room needed vacuumed and counters and desk needed wipes down

Exceptional

I did not like the property at all I was worried the entire 20 minutes i was there i had to find a different hotel

Great location, friendly staff that will work with you, and get you great rates. Beats out online booking hands down. Clean rooms, spaces and comes with kitchen bonus for travelers. Very quiet and calm.

Good

The room was clean and had more amenities than those that cost quite a bit more.

Dead bugs in the bathroom and on the carpet. I was uncomfortable and won’t stay there again. And it was not cheap. Also, they told me the front door would be unlocked all night. Unacceptable!

Pleasant

Blackout Curtains were great!

Nothing There was nothing I like I got bit up really bad I had pictures to show and I want to refund, and my employee also got bit up and I would like a full refund a small business owner this is ridiculous.

Very good
