Bed was terrible, ceiling peeling in multi places in room. Carpet was sticky in room and hallways, Ice maker was down, Elevator and vending was down. I mean the customer service was good, place just needs major overhaul of rooms and amenities. They just changed management which is understandable to a certain extent. Overall a one night stay was ok but for short or extended stays no thanks.

Police out front on check in, front desk secured by glass ( bulletproof?) and reeked of cigarette smoke. Declined our stay when credit card was gratefully declined.

The staff was amazing & helpful!

It was a nice hotel for the price. We were there for business beyond the accommodations. Useful staff were exceptionally friendly. The maintenance on the rooms and the buildings have been attempted to be kept up, but not a great job of it. Paint is splattered all over different places in the walls and the rooms, but it was clean. There was always somebody there, cleaning hallways and common areas was quiet. Room is comfortable and clean. Beds were clean and comfortable being there for a weekend for business. Show it served our purposes very well. For the price

several cockroaches in room, hair on the floor of the bathroom when we arrived. breakfast was out of most things (went around 8 with an hour of breakfast time left). Doors did not latch without having to pull fairly hard on door for both our room door and the side door into the hotel. This made worse with the $100 dollar a night price tag.

First night in the room, shower didn't have hardly any water pressure. I was able to switch rooms. Next day some "employee" helped himself an walked right in the room, saying it was past check out time. My reservation was from Wednesday through saturday,. I go to front desk ask if everything was ok, they acted like the guy was only there to pick up items for another location. English wasn't their main language, so I walked away.

Everything was okay didn’t have toilet paper holder. Need slow down signs in parking lot was almost in a car accident on property. Breakfast didn’t have butter or jelly for toast just peanut butter. No secondary door lock just main door knob lock on room door.

This property was poorly maintained. The elevator did not work. The vending machines did not work. The ice machines did not work. I also discovered that, it is a "shelter" hotel. The washing machines did not work. If I had known these details, I would have definitely booked a room elsewhere. To all potential customers looking for a hotel to stay in while visiting witicha, kansas; steer clear of this hotel. They get 5 stars in false advertisement and disappointing the many masses who believed the advertisement.

First off, we've stayed at this property for several years and had no problems. It is under new owner-ship/management, I believe. Checked in around 4pm-opening door to our room-no light switch-plate cover on room light, or on electrical outlet at sink; knats hit us in the face; no hangers, no luggage rack, no chair-only bed to sit on; no kleenex; no drinking glasses; TV remote didn't work, outlet on 1 bedside table lamp (to plug in electronics) didn't work. Apparently, room had been painted but the workmanship was terrible. Bright blue & white paint spattered on the bathroom floor and in bathtub. Paint spattered on floor in bedroom, too. Knats kept bothering us until we left @ 5pm. Returning to room around 11pm, more knats. Then roaches roamed out-I smashed one on the wall, one scurried over MDH bedside table & 2 on floor so MDH smached them with his bare feet. That was it for us! We checked out at midnight & walked next door to another hotel, where we spent the night. And it cost us PLENTY! We had planned on staying here 2 more times but canceled them all.

Price was good

The front desk was nice and friendly, though.

The carpet in my room was sticky and stained with maybe blood? The check in desk was manned by teenagers and the lady checking in ahead of me unsuccessfully requested a refund because the yelling of her neighbors made her feel unsafe. One of the ground floor rooms in front of where I parked had open windows but was missing any screens.

- Bed was comfy and clean - Room was very clean and cool temp upon arrival was nice. - Fridge was empty and clean. - Television remote was easily located. - Shower water was hot. - Towels and linens were clean and smelled great. - Hotel halls smelled great. - Quiet location, so great for sleeping - Curfew so it stays quiet - Staff was accommodating, wonderful to speak to and cheerful upon my checking in and out. Cons: - Rusty bathroom fixtures - Bathroom poorly ventilated - Ice machine broken - Chairs still up on tables during breakfast - No coffee in dining hall - Not enough protein offered at breakfast Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. It was a nice change from the crummy motels where folks don't bother to sweep, let alone mop the floors. It very much has a lot of potential and feels like they're doing everything they can with what they have and I appreciate that a lot. I would totally stay here again.

This was probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stepped foot in, we checked out faster than we checked in, everything was filthy from the first step into the building, the furniture was broken and dirty, the carpet was stained all over, the floors were sticky and the whole place smelled awful, I could keep going but the list would never end. DO NOT STAY HERE, RUN FAR AWAY!

Nice cold A/C Friendly staff and clean room

I have had a great experience here with our stay. Myself, 2 kids, and our dog have been here for 1 week. They let us add additional days as needed without any issues. Refreshed our linens and towels when requested at an efficient time. Staff has been very friendly with us and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wichita. The hotel is in a safer area of Wichita which is very quiet and I have not seen anything that would make me reconsider coming here in the near future. There are some minor damages in hotel rooms but very clean overall we had no issues having our dog stay with us and they have a nice area for our dog to use the restroom and get some fresh air.

Ice machine was broken, stains on the lamp shaves and carpet and they almost gave me someone else’s room and was told to knock before entering to make sure it was empty.

Fantastic stay rooms were clean staff was great
-
Rooms, lobby, hallways were clean. Elevator was out of service and stairways were dirty. Room AC was cold. Service was great. Price was good for what they offer. Will stay again.

Front desk clerk was amazing, she did everything in her power to help us feel like we were important to her!!! Amenities were at the lowest quality. Cleanliness of room was very disappointing. Beds were make nicely, however, the room had been vacumed (as the saying in spanish goes) only where the mother-in-law can see! It has been a very long time since thoroughly cleaned, as the corners had dusk from who knows how long. The stair railings had paint after paint till it just falls off. The halls smell like old and musty. I did appreciated the vibe they are trying to bring in with the pictures, however, that vibe won't be complete until the hotel changes it's QUALITY of CLEANLINESS...in my humble opinion!
