Free parking, nice pool, free ice, bbq grills, convenient location by the beach, and friendly staff ? The smoke detector went off at the slightest inconvenience, we tried opening the balcony, using the stove fan, but it just persisted. That’s it though ?

Everything was great no complaints

Great location, a very clean room, and incredibly friendly hosts. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place. The only negative issue was that the Wi-Fi did not work in our room, although it worked well outside.

Location was awesome. Rooms were extremely clean. I would return next time I visit Wildwood.

The room was clean. There was a private balcony. The owners were not friendly. The tv in the kitchen area didn’t work the first night. I called and the man came up and couldn’t fix it. He said his wife would do it tomorrow. We were only there for 3 nights. He was unapologetic about it. We only had a roll and a 1/2 of toilet paper for 3 people. They had left the vacuum in the room when we got there. They didn’t come in and change towels or replenish. You had to go ask for what you needed. The lady said there were towels in a bin you could take, but when I went to get new ones, there were no hand towels or washcloths, just larger towels. The sides of the beds were against the walls, so my husband and I couldn’t fit comfortably in the double bed bc when the person closest to the wall moved, they’d bump the wall. I had to have my daughter sleep with me and give my husband the twin which wasn’t ideal. They gave a small yellow card with instructions. I stopped to ask about how the garbage was taken out, and the man was really rude and said it was on the card. He made me feel stupid and indignant. On the second evening, the food we brought was frozen in the fridge for some reason. We had to throw most of it out. I wouldn’t stay there again if you want a comfortable relaxing vacation.

Very close to the beach! The ac in unit 203 didn’t work. We opened a window every night for cool air.

Amazing location! We loved the tile flooring over carpet! The shower didn’t flood when showering nor was it full of sand despite being right by the beach.

Clean Quiet

The balcony’s were nice to relax on and watch the sunset. The beds were comfortable and the room was extremely clean. The distance to the beach is perfect.

Great location with easy access to the beach, clean rooms. Beds need to be updated, did not sleep well due to broken bed sagging in the middle. Fridge could be bigger or at least up higher for access as you have to touch your toes to get in the fridge with it being so small and on the floor.

Having to walk up to the third floor

Location is great, steps from the beach and in a quiet stretch of wildwood Pool is crazy small and utterly disgusting. I don’t think they are using a pump at all. I tried to skim it each morning so we could use it but it was just so gross we couldn’t bring ourselves to go in. The pool closes at 6pm anyways ! So bummed to not be able you take an evening dip, but it was so dirty we wouldn’t have used it anyways. We were there 5 nights and got no room service at all even though they told us we would get a sheet change mid week. Are they changing the sheets at all? The fridge was so dirty and covered in mold spots. The pull out couch also has mold growing all over the frame. The kitchen supplies were crusted with old food. The floor was covered in sand and dirt. The entry/ ‘porch area’ to our room was filthy. The grill area is basically just the end of the parking lot and has a bunch of sewer pipes running right above it so you get to hear sewer rushing above you every time someone flushes. It’ also generally dirty. There isn’t really a place on site to hang out in the evenings with the pool closed and a gross sitting area. Everything about this place was terrible except the location.

The Barcelona was excellent! We wanted to be close to the beach and family staying at another hotel close by. It was walking distance to both. We’ll definitely be back.

Location to beach very good. Jitney available to go to rides right in front of Motel. Office staff excellent! They were courteous, informative, helpful and accessible. Rooms very clean and lovely washcloths. Oh, and my grandchildren loved the pool. The living room bed was uncomfortably warm probably due to waterproof undercover.

Location was on the beachblock...very convenient.
