Barcelona Motel

Office staff excellent! They were courteous, informative, helpful and accessible. Rooms very clean and lovely washcloths. Oh, and my grandchildren loved the pool. The living room bed was uncomfortably warm probably due to waterproof undercover.

The Barcelona was excellent! We wanted to be close to the beach and family staying at another hotel close by. It was walking distance to both. We’ll definitely be back.

Great location with easy access to the beach, clean rooms. Beds need to be updated, did not sleep well due to broken bed sagging in the middle. Fridge could be bigger or at least up higher for access as you have to touch your toes to get in the fridge with it being so small and on the floor.

Location is great, steps from the beach and in a quiet stretch of wildwood Pool is crazy small and utterly disgusting. I don’t think they are using a pump at all. I tried to skim it each morning so we could use it but it was just so gross we couldn’t bring ourselves to go in. The pool closes at 6pm anyways ! So bummed to not be able you take an evening dip, but it was so dirty we wouldn’t have used it anyways. We were there 5 nights and got no room service at all even though they told us we would get a sheet change mid week. Are they changing the sheets at all? The fridge was so dirty and covered in mold spots. The pull out couch also has mold growing all over the frame. The kitchen supplies were crusted with old food. The floor was covered in sand and dirt. The entry/ ‘porch area’ to our room was filthy. The grill area is basically just the end of the parking lot and has a bunch of sewer pipes running right above it so you get to hear sewer rushing above you every time someone flushes. It’ also generally dirty. There isn’t really a place on site to hang out in the evenings with the pool closed and a gross sitting area. Everything about this place was terrible except the location.

Absolutely amazing!!! The location, owners, and room were all perfect!!! After staying at so many different motels for the last 13 years in Wildwood, we finally found the perfect one to return to year after year!! Wish we found you guys sooner!

rooms are clean and decent size not an issue for us as we don’t mind stairs but stairs are narrow and there is no elevator

They sjould improve the locks of the main doors.

Our room was small, but very nice & clean & large enough for 2, with a fridge & microwave & plenty of towels. The AC worked great, & the shower was nice & clean as well. It was crowded & therefore-NOISY- that was the only issue-Ice machine was in the hallway, 1 room away & attracted a lot of people, who seem to think the rooms are sound proofed by the way they yelled in the hallway.

The location is perfect and it’s really quiet.

Beach access right from motel. Boardwalk a short 7 minute drive! Our only complaint is there was no elevator. With two small children (one under one) the sling of items we had to bring was hefty, multiple trips up and down the stairs was tiresome after a long days travel. Parking spaces are also on the smaller side, so if you have an SUV or larger vehicle vehicles are super close together and again with small children not ideal for car seats.. and I wouldn’t want my 6 year old to scratch someone else’s car. Wish pool had extended hours! But not a deal breaker for us

We liked that it was in walking distance to the beach and close to convenience stores. Also, liked that they had a pool. Also it was very quiet! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back to stay there again! Also, the staff was nice and friendly which is a plus in my book!! Thanks, for a great stay!

Close to the beach which was perfect.

Very nice owners. Excellent customer service. Room and grounds were very clean. Everything in excellent repair. A very nice stay, in a terrific location.

Staff was super personal, friendly room was a cute color appeasing and retro. 1 minute walk to showers and beach. Clean. Small felt confined not alot of space for your stuff. Tight stairwell, walls block from much sun at the pool. Bed was super uncomfortable and loud. No views.
