came before the season started, was wonderful and so close to the beach & the beginning of the boardwalk. the room was bigger than expected and super clean

Definitely overpriced for what you get. Would not stay here again ONLY because the price was too much per night.

The staff was nice, very nice but it needs to be updated all around. The bathrooms are old, there was no cover on the drain and i lost my diamond earring. There were 3 or 4 signs with the pool hours and they were all different, the surrounding area of the pool was not safe, several skimmers opened and a few kids almost got hurt. The grounds were not kept, many broken chairs, the table.

Great location. Rooms were spacious and “updated”, but only one room had a mini fridge. A/c units were very loud, kept waking me up all night. Bathroom didn’t have any space for toothbrushes, towel bar was broken, no hooks for towels. Could have been cleaner.

Very clean rooms, clean pool, friendly staff

A solid mid budget motel that is close to the beach and boardwalk. Parking is tight, no outdoor garden hose or shower stand to wash off the sand but the public shower stand is a block away. The building is built on an odd angle so the rooms will have odd angles too, but it's one of the more budget friendly motels in the area so you just have to go with it.

Clean rooms, helpful staff. Nice pool. A little tight for parking but we managed.

Room was cleaned poorly still had food from previous guest. tv did not work initially had to have two remotes to do different functions. Also when asked for sheet changed, got told cleaning crew is gone I’ll just give you the sheets to put on

If you want to be right by the boardwalk, right by the beach, close to the only supermarket around and close to some good dinner options - in a no frills room, this is the place. It's the best location if you want peace and these benefits. It's the end of the boardwalk, but you're still right there.

Best feature is the distance to the beach. The room was fine but the bathroom was tiny. The mini fridge temp was hard to regulate so food was either frozen solid or I would turn the dial down and the ice would melt into a puddle across the floor. I did find bugs on my last day which was disappointing.

Good hotel, great location and staff

The staff was okay, didn't seem very welcoming or eager to help. The rooms are renovated, which is what got me to book here in a first place. However, don't think it's anything spectacular. Very poor WiFi, it's better if you sit by the pool than in the room. Bathroom was not clean, also not renovated. Drain was clogged, in the tub and the bathroom sink. Asked for an extra blanket the first night, did not get it. Asked again the second day and was told they only had one left and someone else took it. Then the maid came and brought one. Overall, not extremely bad considering the price. The location is awesome, one block from the beach, and the start of the boardwalk.

The room was larger than originally thought from the pictures which was great, just poorly laid out. The bathroom was so tiny it was literally uncomfortable to do anything in. The AC had two settings Frozen Arctic circle or depths of hell. No in between. Bring extra blankets so you don’t freeze to death. The floors were nice, but definitely weren’t cleaned well prior to check in, the previous people must have spilled something sticky and it was still there. We found someone’s wallet, which were mailing to him, since obviously the staff don’t pay attention to things. The refrigerator likely has not been cleaned in months. There’s food and ketchup stuck to the inside and someone’s long hair everywhere. It was disgusting. The pool was just ok. Nothing to go crazy about. Not heated, so was ice cold. Kind of small. Even though there’s designated parking, it is very narrow and your car is likely to get dings in the doors. Only one car is allowed to park per room. All in all, not worth what we paid, definitely will go elsewhere next year.

We spent a week and had a great time. The staff was wonderful and extremely warm and welcoming. The pool was well maintained and cleaned. We had a room with a kitchenette, there should have been more utensils,we only had 2 very large spoons, but plenty of butter knives. I wish we would have had a fridge with a freezer. We will definitely stay again.

Needs to be updated. The rooms. Had the old hotel smell and lacks interest.

This hotel is a 1950’s classic which is great but it seems run down, dirty and not well maintained. Needs fresh paint, repairs, deep cleaning, and updates. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was nice. Location of hotel is close to beach, bike path and the boardwalk. There are several places to eat within a short walk. Overall it was adequate for a short stay but nothing to write home about.
