American Safari Motel

Unfortunately, our room was not well maintained. The room smelled. The fridge and microwave broke. The TV was difficult for us to figure out. Our sink wasn’t working right, and our sheets were dirty. They give us sheets to change ourselves 😅. The ac was very loud. The neighbors were very loud. My daughter loved the pool, so that was a plus and we loved being close to the beach and the ice cream place across the street was a nice perk too. I sadly wouldn’t stay again, we actually left a night early because we had enough of staying there. It definitely needs maintenance and some upgrading. We appreciate the kindness from the staff, sadly our stay wasn’t very pleasant or comfortable.

I liked the proximity to the beach and the boardwalk and the ice cream shop across the street 😁 I did not like the room the beds were very uncomfortable the room was dirty the draws had hair in them I had a kitchenette and there was not adequate dishes or silverware the bathroom toilet was very loose and leaked from the bottom making the floor wet there were only 4 channels available on their direct tv and they were mostly home shopping network I would NOT stay at this motel again I certainly paid a lot for the location not the stay very disappointed ☹️

Great location and value for July. Definitely run down, which you expect for wildwood but some things should be kept up with as a bare minimum. See pics.

Superb

Closeness to the beach and boardwalk. Very walkable. On site parking. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very nice. Wish there was a coffee maker in the room. Wonder why no drain plug for bathroom sink? Only 1 towel rack to hang bath towels, wash cloths, and hand towels.

Told them I'd be checking in late, made me do deposit before i arrived which is fine,but then room wasnt ready when i arrived at 8pm. Took an hr to be ready. They said they would talk to me about a partial refund..never brought it up again.

Disappointing

Location was good. Check and and check out were easy The pool was not clean and the beds were not comfortable. Stayed only one night and everyone felt like their bodies were sore after sleeping in the beds.

The lobby was unkept, the hotel was unkept and they don’t offer refunds. There was clear water damage on the ceiling, the blind was broken in the bathroom and the blinds in the main room offered no privacy. Lawn chairs were used inside the room, and the beds looked dirty and were uncomfortable. The bathroom was dirty, and they told us that a 24 hour notice is required for room service. Considering how much it cost for 3 nights, I’m incredibly upset. Did not stay in the hotel and booked elsewherey at the last minute. Would not recommend and telling friends and family to stay away.

I like the location The bed are hard not comfortable to sleep, the floor are dirty too much sand and the aircondition is noisy.
