American Safari Motel

Beds and bathroom were generally clean. Property itself is very outdated and small. This is a good place to just keep your things in and explore the island. Definitely just minimize time spent in your room

Nice location. Rooms could use a little updating. Overall it was a good location for what we were there for.

Everything and the pool was great.

We didn’t even make it through the night we left and drove home early. There was bugs crawling on us. There was noises everywhere and security running around. Not good for families.

The room and bathrooms are ancient. So are the kitchenette. Old and outdated. Will not be staying here again.

This place was perfect for our family during our stay. Definitely somewhere we will come again.

Beds were very comfortable. Lots of hot water for shower Found bag of trash when checking in. Only one burner on stove worked.

Close to the beach Pool was so dirty it had trash floating in it. I booked this hotel because it said heated pool and it was unusable . Water so dirty could not even see the steps. Room doors rotting and falling apart, hotel was not clean . One blanket in room and it was stained and sitting in dirt on shelf .i am not surprised the hotel was empty, so very disappointed. Never will book here again .complete waste of money . Couldn't even talk to staff because there was none at all.

I got random charges on my card for a guest who came by during the day. Didn’t know my card could be charged without my permission! Be aware if you’re paying with card they’ll charge your card without your consent!

Location, small motel, friendly host— Property has been let go since our last stay there. I was surprised to find two dirty washcloths in the shower, mildew next to the bed on the wall and sandy floors. Stucco pealing off the exterior wall in the breezeway.

Kitchen pans were in usable and no cutlery

Location It was very old and dirty. Stove did not work. Amenities were damaged.

Shower water was hot Our 2 rooms were out-of-date and desperately needed updates. Not clean/very grungy. Poor general lighting and multiple lights in rooms not working. Large bug in kitchen for 1 room and also in bathroom for the other room. No bathroom fans. Windows open in both bathrooms on arrival. A/C units loud, especially when turning on/off. 1 was not able to be moved off 60 degrees. Light in 1 fridge didn't work. Kitchenette with no can opener. No handles on any cabinet doors or drawers. No drying rack or kitchen towels/dishclothes. Other items, including coffeemakers/toasters were rusty. Open closet area with no purpose or way to use it.

First the staff were amazing from check in to check out. The night clerk came out walked beside me to show me a parking place. He was polite and kind. I loved everything about the property. Close to the beach and boardwalk plus mini golf and the Sea Shell ice cream shop which is Amazing!

Close to the beach. There were dishes and silverware missing. Hardly any soap and an old sponge to wash the dishes. No tv channels.

Everything was in disrepair, Some of the outlets didn't work, the room was very damp, the blinds in the bath and main window didn't work at all, the entry door had to be slammed to close and the deadbolt lock didn't work.

Nothing. We showed up and it was closed. They moved us to Tropicana which was disgusting. After complaining they moved us to Waves motel which was better. Such a shady experience.
