Need more things for the kitchen

Only 2 good-ish things about Gold Crust Motel. The oceanfront room has a beautiful view of the ocean and park below &the pool wasn’t crowded unless there were kids running around &jumping in from every direction. No shade, wouldn’t put up umbrellas. The oceanfront room balcony- the dumpsters are located directly below &at least twice during our 4 day stay the giant garbage bins were emptied and the smell from the leaky crap that oozed out was awful. So the balcony was unusable for a few hours each time it was done. I don’t even know where to begin about the room. The room decor is absent, not even a picture on the wall. Tiny TV. Gross fridge. Curtains were 3 different torn panels. Comforters were old and creepy, &the sheets didn’t fit so when you moved around, they’d come off and you’d wake up on the plastic mattress cover. Ick. I also rolled toward the center of the bed when I slept because of the indentation. The bathroom. ICK! Hair on the floor, crusty tile, especially in corners. Tub tile was broken &looked like a 4 year old caulked it. Gross shower mat. The toilet clogged. They’d only give 1 roll of TP at a time so we had to ask for more 2x. One unsafe outlet in the light above the sink. Not even one hook or towel bar. Just the broken bar holders sticking out of the wall. Awful place.

We had a great stay with family this summer and we liked location, staff and the amenities.

Extremely accommodating and clean. They had mini golf right onsite and the beach was steps away. Also the ice machine was super clean. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Near everything the pools clean grills to cook on the min golf right there nice staff a park and beach entrance right there not only would I recommend but we'll also be back at least once a year very family oriented establishment and not paying an arm and a leg to enjoy it

(No meals were offered at this location.) I liked the availability of parking and that there was a pool. I liked the AC in the room. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful with questions. Not close enough to the boardwalk. I was hoping for more kitchen space. I would’ve liked access to breakfast on site.

Everything I liked everything except for the smell of the room. It had a weird smell.

Proximity to the beach and salt water pool Seems like the last renovation/ decor change done to this motel was when it was built, 20-30 years ago??? The noice AC unit makes would wake up the dead for sure . 1000$ for two night was absolutely not worth it. For a little bit more, you can have a week in all-inclusive abroad, it’s a shame

The location was excellent. Loved the ocean views from the room and balcony. It was close to the beach, boardwalk, restaurants and a concert in the park. The room was very clean and it was ready early! Would definitely go back!

Great location. Pool size and depths are perfect for any age. Jitney drives right by for a ride to the boardwalk. Rooms could use some upgrading.

Have towels and kitchen utensils for everyone in the room.

Owner was really nice and the housekeepers did a great job.

Close to the beach Separate bedroom Nice pool area Coffee available in the morning at the lobby mini golf and bbq The pillows were very dirty, look like when they clean the room they don't change pillow cases. We had to use our towels to cover. A little bit far from the boardwalk

The customer service was really great, the room old and smelled like dead fish in our room, we bought candles to help with odor, hair and dirt in corners and you don’t get cleaning services. Honestly the location was great and so was the customer service other wise I would have given this property a 0

Room was clean and spacious. I really liked the separate bedroom in addition to the front bedroom/sitting area. Two TVs were good. Real nice location with Ocean view. We'll be back

Loved our room! It was comfortable and clean. Very impressed. Loved the 70s/80s vibe. Highly recommend and will be back next year
