Jolly Roger Motel

Great location

Our room was ready before check-in and they allowed us into the room well before the 4pm check-in time. The room was very clean and spacious. Everything looks to be new and updated. The beds were very comfortable. I would recommend bringing a pillow from home only if you prefer larger/fluffier pillows. The lobby was really cute and I enjoyed sitting in the upstairs area reading a book. They have complimentary coffee throughout the day which is really nice. I loved the outside area which had plenty of pool loungers, tables, chairs, and 5 grills. All of the staff we interacted with were wonderful! On check out day, they allowed us to continue using the hotels amenities which was an awesome way to extend our mini getaway. We are already trying to go back!

Location, parking, coffee shop on site Needs some work, had cracked tiles in the shower that were ready to fall off. A door opposite the ice machine had missing glass panels and card board in its place. Put some money back into the visible repairs that are needed to keep this hotel looking nice.

Excellent room, grounds, pool, BBQ (!!), friendly service, great location, awesome renovations. Great price and availability at a very busy time. Thank you, Jolly Roger!!

Pleasant room and very close to beach and boardwalk

The cleaning of the room could have been better.

NOT Handicap friendly - no elevator and several steep steps to get into lobby. Had to haul luggage up steps and to room as no luggage cart. Bathroom too small to get wheelchair in if needed.

Great location, plenty of room with the larger suite and ocean view was so nice from balcony. All was good no complaints, would note as just fyi no elevator so if on 2nd and 3rd floors for anyone older or not able to carry luggage something to consider

Location was nice. The pool was nice. There were a lot of things not cleaned recently. In the room and lobby. Hotel has potential.

Jolly Roger was one of the better motels I experienced while visiting Wildwood. Check-in was quick and simple. The only issue I had is the person checking me in did not hand me my ID in my hand when she gave me back my ID. I handed her my ID hand to hand and I expected the same in return. Other than that, I did not have any major issues. The room was mostly clean except black stains on the walls. It looked like maybe kids have been touching the walls overtime and a few swipes of a magic eraser should get rid of the stains. The blankets touch the floor and the quality of the blankets were not the best. I usually bring my own blankets when staying in motels. The amenities were great although I did not get a chance to use anything. They had a heated pool, grill, pickle ball court and tennis court and they were willing to supply all the items we needed to play the game and use the grill. That was an added bonus. The motel is also within walking distance of the beach which is great. The area was quiet and peaceful. Check out was simple and easy and the man that checked my out was very kind. If I stay in Wildwood again with my family, I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was awesome Gina helped out on multiple days She was polite and she knew what she was doing. We enjoyed our stay there and will return in the future. The room was awesome and inviting. Our kids enjoyed it and had a great time Nothing at all

We appreciated the convenient layout featuring a kitchen, individual terrace, and pool access as described, but the severe maintenance and cleanliness issues completely overshadowed these features. We booked a 4-person apartment for a family of three to ensure a relaxing night, but encountered numerous issues after a 10:30 PM check-in. The office closed at 11:00 PM, leaving us without assistance. Instead of two real beds, we received one bed and a dirty pull-out sofa with a moist, unhygienic mattress cover and stained, un-freshened sheets hidden inside. The entrance and bathroom were crawling with flies, constantly disrupting my husband and son's sleep. Furthermore, the two wall A/C units were so loud that their mechanical operation and heavy hissing repeatedly woke us up throughout the night. None of us could take a shower due to a lack of basic towels.

Great hotel. Very clean. Wonderful staff. Cute bagel shop downstairs.
