Pool area was nice! Bedroom was cool in temperature We checked in late which I mentioned ahead of time. The girl at the counter was eating her dinner and really didn't give a great first impression. The room was warm and the floors sandy. Only airconditioner was in the bedroom portion of the room - strange set up

I will start out by saying this is a beautiful resort! We did have a nice time. However we did have an incident. First of all when we checked in the front desk associate did not ask me for my ID. Second at 10:30 pm on our first night of being on vacation The Madison sent three Policemen to my room because they thought there was fraud going on - because someone with my same name stayed there before. So they called that person to confirm and when she said it was not her they immediately thought I was committing a crime apparently. Then the policeman discovered I was in fact who I said I was and apologize to me. They were very kind to me . I go down to the office and as soon as I walk in both ladies behind the counter say This is not our fault it’s Expida ‘s fault. They go on to tell me to talk to the manager in the morning with multiple eye rolls. This is a resort let’s remember that. You pay extra for service. The next day the manager says to me “What do you want me to do !?? I offer you my heartfelt apology!” She was also dismissive and frankly rude. She said if i had not booked under Expidia she could have given me a night back- well guess what the last night I booked with the Madison- then she changed her story to only being able to give me back half a night. I decided to take it so my vacation was not ruined-but as I thought about it all week and taked to multiple people about it I was not happy how I was treated. When i checked i got the full night back. Not a great exp

The hotel is well kept and clean. We had an issue with the room but the manager was very helpful and ensure to make our stay comfortable. One of the front desk staff was not helpful and dismissive.

Elevator was out of service when we arrived, not sure if that’s a common occurrence. Pool area was nice with a good amount of loungers. There was a patio area with fire-pits at night, which was a good place to relax and hangout. Room seems newly renovated with newer appliances. Water pressure was severely lacking in the shower. The pull-out couch was extremely uncomfortable (all coils/springs, no cushioning). A dim nightlight option would be a nice addition to the room. The free shuttle service throughout Wildwood and Cape May was a nice amenity, although it shouldn’t be relied upon if you have a reservation to be somewhere as there’s no real schedule.

Clean room, great beach view, and local to nearby Wildwood boardwalk
-
Rooms had some leaks which made for a musty smell. Parking was incredibly tight. Towers should’ve been labeled better for check in as we didn’t know where to go

No bueno

Clean, updated, and great amenities. Free valet and a shuttle. No early check-in

The room was nice and clean, staff was great. The amenities were great and so was the beach. Only a mile to the boardwalk, bike rental right outside resort and parks. Overall a very nice area.

Rooms need to be cleaned better. Hotel has everything a family needs. If it was cleaner would of been great

I had an enjoyable stay at the Madison Resort. It was the perfect get away from NYC. I loved the ease of valet parking and the prompt response from valet service. Shout out to Damone for always being helpful and friendly. They did offer shuttle services to Cape May and Wildwood creek which was a great perk. Spending time around the firepits were a great way to great way to end the night. My only con was the pull out couch. It was extremely uncomfortable. You can feel like springs and there was no support. The sheets were also not comfortable to sleep with. It had a towel like texture which was rough on the skin. Being that I only spent 2 nights I didn’t ask for alternative options. Overall, I would return again.

The limo/shuttle driver Rick was fabulous. Air conditioner was flaky and the vent blew right on the bed…. Very uncomfortable. We may have gotten a room on the “outer perimeters” and may have been a room of last resort. We booked last minute. Not sure what the other rooms looked like. The safe wasn’t working and the elevator was very dirty.

There are 2 towers, we did not stay at the newest one. The check in line was very long, we waited almost an hour. The check in staff seemed annoyed every time we asked a question. The room was not like they show in the pictures. The place is run down and for what they charged us I was expecting something a little better. To be fair we were able to peek at a room at the newer tower (ocean tower) and it looked much better than what we got. I want to think we got one of the worst rooms with dirty doors and noisy bathroom light. The bathroom toilet paper holder was broken. At least the beds were comfortable but thats all.
