We had a wonderful stay at Sea Chest Motel in Wildwood Crest, NJ for the Barefoot Country Music Festival. The property is a little dated, but it was superbly clean and very well maintained, which mattered much more to us. The staff was friendly, welcoming and always helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel comfortable and appreciated as guests. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return in the future!

This is a hidden gem. It is an older motel with all the conveniences and amenities you want just minutes from the beach. The pool is big and clean, there’s are plenty of lounge chairs, and it is a short walk to the beach. The owner takes pride in caring the property and is extremely courteous and kind. I saved so much money because the room had a kitchenette and I was able to cook all of my meals. Everything was so clean and we always had enough towels. This is great for a single person, couple, or famoly! I will never waste my time looking for wildwood hotels again and only stay at Sea Chest from now on.

Our weekend stay was amazing. The family that runs this motel are definitely doing it right. They are very friendly and extremely helpful with whatever you may need. Will definitely recommend 10 out of 10 times.

Comfortable stay Pool should open 8AM, not 10AM

The facility may be vintage and Wildwood "old school" but it was clean, comfortable, safe and affordable. The owner (Jim) who checked us in was friendly and helpful. A good choice for our stay. While we didn't use it, the swimming pool was clean and nice. Various restaurants are available in the area. Nothing that we really didn't like.

Great place, very quiet. Small family owned motel, very clean.We had stayed for two days with children. One block from the beach. Hosts are very caring and attentive. We will come back again.

Perfect spot great owners management

It felt like the good old days at the ocean beach. Laid back and peaceful! No hustle, bustle, and not as many people as in Cape May! My favorite most impressive part of our vacation was the Sea Chest's Owners, they are a very, very friendly and welcoming!!! Wish we had stayed longer!

The shower had very good pressure with lots of hot water. Our room did not have a light over the kitchen area, but they are adding lights and outlets room by room.

The owners were amazing and the hotel was spotless. Rooms needed a bit of an update but were totally serviceable

About 2 blocks from the beach.. 40 min walk to the entrance of the boardwalk. Clean hotel with friendly owners. We enjoyed our stay. One suggestion would be for the kitchenette to have more things such as lids for their pots, mitts, a set of smaller plates and a 4 count of glasses and coffee cups. There were only 2 of each.

The Sea Chest motel is a gem in the heart of Wildwood Crest. Our room, including the bathroom, was very clean. Our room had a full size fridge and freezer. There is free WiFi and a HDTV. Johnny, the proprietor, is very friendly and helpful. He and his family do a great job keeping this motel looking great. This motel's location is only two blocks from the south end of the Wildwood boardwalk. The motel is one block from the beach. We would gladly stay at the Sea Chest Motel again.
