Wonderful, family owned and managed environment. Comfortable and close to beach. We will return!

I did not give it a full star rating only because it did not have a door on the closet, the fridge and TV were plugged into a power strip and as a fireman, I know that is against code. I also was up with the sun because they did not have blackout curtains, only a vertical blind. These are some recs I would make: The hotel is in a little need of updating. The bathroom is 1970's decor. The blackout curtains would be a plus. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Very clean rooms. The staff consistently asked if we needed anything and were quick to help us whenever we needed something. 2 blocks away from a lovely beach. Great family owned business, thinking about coming back again in the future.

This is a family owned motel and very well taken care of with a retro vibe. The pool area is great and has plenty of seating as well as outdoor grills. It's 1.5 blocks from the beach in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to the boardwalk. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to coming back next year.

Disappointed in every way! Very unprofessional staff at the front desk too.

Very antiquated. Plumbing and fixtures are very old and constantly run. The beds were very old and uncomfortable. Overall just in very poor repair. I had to keep telling myself I was staying in a camper in order to make it through 2 nights. A camper would have been a better option. We checked out early.

This is an older motel, but don't let that fool you—it was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can tell she truly cares about the property. She was proud to show me her beautiful garden ( Dahlias and zinnias) which added a personal and charming touch to my stay. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable place with genuine hospitality, I would definitely recommend staying here. It was a short walk to the beach and convenient parking. We will stay there again.

It was good enough. For the same price I would probably stay somewhere else with a more updated interior.

I don’t know how this property had such a high rating that I booked a night’s stay. The outside looked pretty good but the inside of the room was outdated and my feet stuck to the floor. The room was kind of clean but there was rust on the sink and the water spouts were old. There was a coffee maker but no coffee. At the very best I would have rated this hotel a 6.

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Chest Motel in Wildwood Crest, NJ for the Barefoot Country Music Festival. The property is a little dated, but it was superbly clean and very well maintained, which mattered much more to us. The staff was friendly, welcoming and always helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel comfortable and appreciated as guests. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return in the future!

This is a hidden gem. It is an older motel with all the conveniences and amenities you want just minutes from the beach. The pool is big and clean, there’s are plenty of lounge chairs, and it is a short walk to the beach. The owner takes pride in caring the property and is extremely courteous and kind. I saved so much money because the room had a kitchenette and I was able to cook all of my meals. Everything was so clean and we always had enough towels. This is great for a single person, couple, or famoly! I will never waste my time looking for wildwood hotels again and only stay at Sea Chest from now on.
