Pleasantly surprised is what we said when we arrived at the inn. Courteous clerk at check-in and attentive housekeeping staff. Bath and kitchen was clean and the bed was comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

We understood from the photos that the hotel was older and somewhat dated, and we were willing to accept that. However, the condition of the room in person is worse than what the photos convey. • The air conditioner has a very strong odor that smells like cat feces or urine, making it extremely unpleasant to have running. It is also extremely loud. • When we moved the shower nozzle to turn on the shower, the nozzle broke off. • The bathtub/shower nozzle is also almost completely detached from the wall and is very loose and movable. • The bar holding the shower curtain is broken and does not stay in place. The curtain falls into the bathtub and sticks to you while showering. • Because the shower curtain cannot stay properly in place, water gets all over the bathroom floor and into the room. They did offer to move our room but We had two young children with us who are already asleep, so moving at night was not an option. However, based on the condition of the room, we left and didn’t stay the second night as planned and moved to another hotel.

Staff was pleasant. Distance to beach. Website stated newly remodeled but our room’s tub was cracked, tub did not drain, flooring was cracked in several places, A/C sounded like an MRI machine or model T every time it came on so we essentially got no sleep, and parking spaces were ridiculously tight.

Location on beach block. Walking distance to cafe, bakery, and restaurants. Only a mile from boardwalk. Had fridge, microwave, and Keurig single cup coffee maker. The bathroom was outdated and the lighting could have been better. Staff was exceptionally nice.

No chair or table in the room. Had to take a table from outside for bedside table. Refrigerator had been Unplugged and so was warm upon arrival. Power strip was overloaded. No bathmat to prevent a fall in tub. Bathroom wall mirror was WAYYY to high, could only see the top of my head if I stood on Toes, No Other mirror in entire room. Im 5 ft tall. No tissues in room. Had to call to get coffee Pods and cups for machine in room. Young man was terrific, and very polite. The AC EXTREMELY LOUD. Floor was broken at entrance, a bit of a hole. Pictures on website are Inaccurate. It is NOT on the beach, it is NOT right across the street from Beach It is on BEACH BLOCK. There is a huge other building between Saratoga and the Beach.

The location was great. The pool was deep and the diving board a plus. Walking distance to beach. Peace and quiet. That the food place closed early.
