Good stay! I would stay here again.

The location is good. The atmosphere is quaint, like going back in time. The rooms may be smaller than you would find in a chain hotel but it was big enough for the two of us. Parking is adequate but tight. I’m glad I have a small car.

Nous devions quitter le motel vers 8 h, mais avons devancé notre départ à 3 h30 du matin. Des jeunes adultes se sont installés devant notre chambre pour faire la fête et parler très fort, ce qui a empêché toute la famille de dormir. Le fait qu'aucun membre du personnel ne soit présent en soirée et pendant la nuit fait en sorte que nous trouvons l'endroit peu sécuritaire pour des familles.

This motel was adorable with its retro vibe and a 2 block walk to the beach and boardwalk. The staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. My only complaint which is of no fault of the motel itself were the people in the next room over. They were outside past 10pm drinking and blasting music from their vehicle. I’m unsure if there was anything said to them by motel staff but this went on well past 11pm making it difficult for my kids and myself to sleep. I do feel a set time being implemented for guests or a “quiet time” would be beneficial.

The owner of the motel was extremely nice and allowed for us to check out later due to unforeseen circumstances.. it was so kind. Knowing also that they also grew up locally, made for an experience from someone who really cares about their motel business. It was a little tricky fitting a toddler crib in between two queen beds, but we made it work.

Bathroom was small but everything was clean.

Does the trick and great location.

The location is excellent—only a 5-minute walk to the beach and the boardwalk. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and they’re good for a few days with the family. The housekeeping could be improved. During our 4-day stay, they only replaced the garbage bag and refilled the shampoo. The toilet and shower were never cleaned. I booked a double room with a kitchenette. It was small, but perfect for a short stay. It had one mini fridge and a small refrigerator/freezer. There is also a BBQ available for all guests to use. Overall, it’s an excellent place for a few days with the family. I would definitely come back again next year.

It was very convenient to the beach and boards. Staff was very personal . They talked to you by name. Rooms were very tight but expected of a hotel down the shore. I don’t think there is anything I could say that was bad.

The staff was very nice and the room was very clean. The pool was also clean. The motel was not far from the boardwalk , beach or restaurants.

The surfcomber is a delightful step back into time. It is a classic Wildwood Motel. Parking is a little tight if you have a full-size SUV but any small car fits well in the parking spaces. it is clean and comfortable close to the beach and many choices for food and ice cream are well within walking distance from the Motel.

Great, nice staff

Motel was within walking distance to the boardwalk and beach, many great restaurants, and shops. There is a pool as well. Room and bathroom were small, but for the rate we couldn’t beat the location!

Very tiny bathroom. It was for the most part clean...except the shower which had hair in the shower pan and was extremely slippery that I almost fell. I took a wet washcloth and scrubbed the bottom and it made a significant difference.
