Holiday Inn Express & Suites Williamsburg by IHG

Had a great experience at the Holiday Inn express on Richmond Road. Was in town for the 250th year celebration.

Everything was excellent. The only complaint I have is that the tub was very slippery and I slipped and fell and hurt my shin the first time I showered. Other than that, all was well.

We loved the property and its proximity. One thing that we didn’t like was housekeeping. We never saw our housekeeper the whole weekend and had to call the front desk to get some fresh towels. We would stay here again if we come back to Williamsburg.

The bathroom could've been better cleaned and I had to ask that someone come and replace the linen.

Staff was friendly. Nice size rooms. Good location with a bus stop just outside the hotel. Beda aren't the most comfortable to me, but may be to others.

The TV wasn’t working correctly, so we only had limited use. I booked a suite with Expedia and got a double queen size room only. Was somewhat disappointed with our overnight stay.

Loved size of the room and the many different options for breakfast. My children loved the pool and the opportunity to have a later check out. More pool time for the kids. We will keep this property at the top of our list when visiting Williamsburg.

Very good breakfast! Bacon n and muffins were awesome. Beds comfort was awesome. It was all good, if I get back that way I’ll stay again.

The custom service is very good The room I got was sticky in its carpet , and I just didn't bother to change rooms as I was very tired that day I just needed a room to sleep for my children and it was a rush decision.

We stay here whenever we are in Williamsburg.

Can’t think of anything Gym was poor … no hand cleaning machines…

Everything was wonderful except for the fact that hotel.com says that there is a Keurig in every room. There is not. The hotel has told me that in January IHG the mother company told them they had to take all of the keurigs out of the rooms. Holiday Inn needs to update their description on Hotels.com. Also it says that there is a saltwater pool and there is not. I chose this particular hotel simply because the fact that there was a keurig coffee pot in the room. I had small children with me and I did not want to leave them to go get coffee when I woke up in the morning. And so instead of staying two minutes from our destination I chose to stay 20 minutes from our destination because of that. The hotel staff did pull a Keurig out of storage that was brand new in a box and gave it to me for my room because I told them why I chose their hotel. That was very kind of them. And it is not the hotel's fault that Holiday Inn has not updated their information. But if you are choosing this hotel for an amenity that is listed then you need to call them before you book to see if it's actually there. The staff was wonderful. The hotel was very clean but I cannot give them a five star because the description is wrong.

The room, the new look rooms. The breakfast. The pool was cloudy and there was hair all in it.

Staff needs training. Especially the Latin/Hispanic woman at the front desk. Language and comprehension challenges. Pool was over-run past occupancy limits

Great room for the price. Clean and free breakfast and parking . Would stay here again.
