King’s Creek Resort by Spinnaker

Our stay was as expected; clean and accommodating. Our only “complaint” is the property staff said check-in begins at 4PM, it’s not “at” 4PM. So if your room isn’t cleaned they can’t give you a timeline, it’s just when the maid calls to confirm it’s ready. It was a little challenging on a hot day with our child to manage with nowhere to go. We were able to use the pool until our room was ready, though. Also the walls are thin, you can hear someone walking upstairs when in the rooms downstairs.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and always willing to help with anything we needed. From check-in to check-out, everyone made us feel like valued guests. Our accommodations were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The property itself was well maintained, with multiple pools and playgrounds that were spotless and provided plenty of options for both relaxation and family fun. The only downsides to our stay were being invited to what was described as a 90-minute presentation that ended up lasting about 2½ hours, and having an issue with our room door on the second day. The battery in the door lock needed to be replaced, which left us locked out of our room for about 45 minutes while it was being fixed. Despite those inconveniences, the overall experience was excellent. The beautiful property, outstanding staff, and great amenities far outweighed the negatives. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this resort to others looking for a relaxing, family friendly and enjoyable vacation.

It was good experience although we could hear family next door talking to each other. The general experience was good higher toilets would be nice for older people. I felt like I was almost on floor. Room was clean, and parking was easy.

The property is very nice with multiple pools and clean, updated accommodations. The cottage we rented, however, had a broken air conditioner and was HOT. We notified the front desk immediately and were told there were no other places available for us to move into and that maintenance would come eventually. They couldn’t give me a timeframe or even whether maintenance would come that day. I spent hours online, on the phone and in-person at the front desk trying to find a solution. The only person at the front desk treated us abysmally, as if a lack of AC in the middle of summer was no big deal. He repeatedly told me there was only one maintenance person on staff, there was no way to know when he would get around to it, that there were no other cottages available, and that even a manager couldn’t help expedite the process. Everything about how he treated us made it clear he thought us to be an inconvenience rather than valued guests. I was in the process of making a reservation at another hotel when a different staff person arrived and had the problem solved in 15 minutes. By that point our entire afternoon and evening had been destroyed, but at least we were able to move our things into a new cottage before bedtime. Honestly, I would give the resort and every employee I encountered a 5 out of 5 stars EXCEPT for the person I worked with for most of that first day. If you are looking for a great place to stay, this is it — as long as there are no maintenance issues.

The room was like a 2 bedroom condo, and there was plenty of room for everyone! I will definitely stay here again!

I really liked the pool area it was divided into sections 2 ft, 3 ft, and 4 ft plus a kiddie pool. My 5 year old granddaughter was comfortable to play without us feeling she would step in area over her head. There were 2 play grounds that I seen plus extra activities. Our room was located on the second floor several steps to climb which I did not see in the description. That is really my only complaint. The room was very nice and clean with lots of room. Bed was very comfortable.

The kids’ playgrounds and large indoor pool were great. The 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom townhome was spacious and clean. We’d definitely return!

Very clean and friendly for the most part except you were rushed by housekeeping to check out because they were busy. Overall a pleasant stay.

Upon checking in I was notified that I booked two rooms. My reservation was through Expedia. That said the receptionist was kind ,helpful and patient while I resolved the issue. The accommodations were great and clean and local to all the things we planned. It was super affordable and roomy as well. My advice is to book direct with the resort. We will definitely stay here again.

The staff was helpful and courteous and we really enjoyed staying there.

We arrived an hour early and as expected was told our room wasn't ready but could be before check time (4pm). The front desk employee ended her shift probably after 3pm but found out later that she did not ask her colleagues to track when our room was ready just in case it was ready before 4pm. Found out later it was ready early.

Large, comfortable 2 bedroom suite with kitchen and washer/dryer. The room could not have been nicer. A great family resort, although it does get crowded with kids.

Loved our stay!

I highly recommend this place, the customer service was amazing the size of the place it was spacious and clean. Is less than 5 miles from Water Country USA and super close to Bushgardens! We are a family of 3 with my husband and my 8 years old daughter and a baby boy on the way! And we loved the place! We are planning on coming back to this hotel in a couple months! ❤️

When I first found this resort while looking for a place to stay in Williamsburg and I saw how reasonable the price was, I thought this was too good to be true. However, this place was everything we imagined and more. The property was very clean and all of the staff we encountered were so friendly. The amenities were amazing and there is something for everyone. We stayed in a cottage and it was so nice. It was perfect for our getaway. It has everything you need for your stay! The only downside is we wish we would have stayed another day or two to be able to take advantage of all the resort has to offer. Highly recommend!

This place was fantastic and affordable! Will definitely come back and probably bring the kids. It was good enough that I almost don't want people to find out for fear it gets over crowded lol

Very spacious cottages and close walking distance to all the amenities. Easy parking and safe location.
