Courtyard by Marriott Williamsburg Busch Gardens Area

Maybe a better choice out of the surrounding hotels but definitely didn't feel like it was as great as most of the reviewers have mentioned. The front lobby appears nice and the staff were very friendly. However, although they maybe had some renovations, rooms still felt a little outdated and small. The bathrooms were small and you could definitely see the wear and tear on the ceiling of the shower and the shower head was very low for a standard bathroom shower. But what I really had an issue with was the way the hallways and rooms smelled it smelled like the hallways in a nursing home or hospital. Just very off putting every time walking through the halls to get to our room. Although, It was ok for a couple nights stay while visiting Williamsburg for a trip to Busch Gardens I was anxiously ready to check out to get to another hotel not in Williamsburg.

Very nice property. Courtyard w pool is beautiful. Close to Busch Gardens is a huge plus.

We had a few broken items in our room but other than that the stay was great. The staff was kind and helpful. The location to everything was my favorite part. We visit the area a few times a year and this will be our new hotel!!

We purchased an extra night so that we could sleep in the hotel room when we arrived after a 10 hour drive through the night with no sleep and 2 kids. Upon arrival the front desk staff (who was so rude and not accommodating at all) told us our reservation had been cancelled. We had to pay for service for both nights even though we didn’t get to stay at the hotel at all. We were then forced to purchase a different hotel across the street so that we could finally sleep. Worst way to start our vacation and deal with this mess, especially after the long drive with no sleep! I will NEVER stay at a Marriot again because of this horrible experience and customer service.

The pool was great, the room was fine. I did not like the fact that it wasn’t properly stocked up for us. There wasn’t any extra toilet paper, we had no bag for the ice bucket, there was absolutely no conditioner in the shower dispenser.

It was very clean That I reserved a king suite and for a different room ! And should be credited for it

Rooms oversold. Arrived at 1 am. To one bed for four people. This cannot happen without apologizing and some effort to make it right.

Checkin employee was awesome. The room was super clean! The areas were all clean and well maintained. Pool was great! The towels were teeny. The breakfast wait was long and some staff were a little fussy.
