It was really comfortable for our family

We stayed here a few years ago and the improvement was clear. The rooms are much nicer, as are the common areas. The staff was super helpful, a special shout out to the evening clerk Brian. He took care of every request immediately. Great place to stay at good price.

Front Desk staff…amazing no matter morning, day, or night…outstanding! Housekeeping staff ALWAYS greeted us with smiles and hellos in the hallway! Great breakfast buffet and evening snacks! The soda pop, coffee, and tea station is always open in the dining/living room area. Very nice outdoor space with BBQ, patio sets, and basketball court. The 2 bedroom / 2 bath with kitchen and living room was great! Highly recommend this hotel! Again, the staff was phenomenal!!

The friendly night staff man. The location. Good morning, This is my formal complaint for my booking number in room 149. Confirmation: 6873763414 under Val Holiday. The front desk man at night was very pleasant when I arrived around 11, the card key given to my partner who came later was not active. I believe the woman who gave him the card key did not activate it. I did not learn of this until after we left. The security on the door was not working properly. The door would not properly lock sometimes and he had to knock in order for me to open the door, but that was because I physically turned the lock that one time. Immediantly, I became acutely aware of the door and was uncomfortable. If you notice in the picture, it looks like there was screws put into the door from the inside and someone busted through it from the outside. I am baffled that anyone would rent this room to anyone without fixing it first. I hope that this was just a miscommunication and not something more malicious. In fact, I noticed that the table where people are meant to eat wasn't properly cleaned. The solid rock looking table in the kitchen. I did wipe it and was not particularly bothered by it. However, for guests all rooms should always be properly maintained and not rushed. The air conditioner had a panel over it, and I almost assumed it was broken. I made sure to lock and bolt my door but there was no proper chain lock either and it made me realize that it would be relatively easy for someone to break in. As someone who has worked with doors on occasion, that particular door frame should have been immediantly replaced. Breakfast bar was decent, but the cleaning service knocked on my door before check out time. It felt like we were being pushed out. It made my boyfriend upset. The whole purpose of the stay was to treat a hard working man with an easy night off. So of course anything that would upset him would upset me. If I hadn't of had someone with me, I would have found another place to stay.

It’s nice that you have 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom suites available to you. I do wish they had a jacuzzi with pool. The staff was spread a little thin at breakfast. The man had to operate the front desk and monitor the the breakfast food.

The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean. We had all the amenities that we needed.
