Friendly and helpful staff and a clean room!

I really struggled to give this place a second star. It's terrible. A few points in no particular order: -parking is $15 per night. Limit 1 vehicle per room. -elevator is not air conditioned. You literally feel like you're being suffocated. Heaven forbid someone gets stuck. -The AC died in my room and we had to move mid-stay. This was a major inconvenience as we had to pack up and unpack again. -the corridors are outdoors and absolutely filthy. -If someone has a yappy dog, you're gonna know it. No matter what floor you're on because of the echo. -Rooms are small. The square footage advertised is grossly overestimated. -No idea who is running this place, but they should re-evaluate the overall cleanliness. -stray cats being fed right outside the front door, so there's that. -staff was friendly and helpful -views of the river are awesome! The riverwalk park provided a relaxing 3 mile stroll along the river. LOVED! -breakfast was good. Coffee was strong (which was good) Won't book again.

Helpful staff and nice breakfast although the breakfast room is a bit small. Arrived around 8:00 pm but could not get to the hotel until after 11:00pm due to July 4th roads were blocked to get to the hotel itself. It would have been nice to have been advised of this issue prior to the booking.

The rooms were very nice for the price we had a great view and we were close to everything.

The hotel's unusual layout suggests it may have once been an apartment building transformed into a hotel. Despite its quirks, the room was clean, and the location was convenient. Plus, the friendly staff made the stay even more enjoyable.

Walking distance to downtown and riverwalk. Very friendly staff. Very clean and efficient room. Great breakfast. Great view of Cape Fear river. Only complaint. No pool.

Hotel is located on the Capefear River. It is close to shops and restaurants. Parking spots are tight, I was worried my car would be dinged. (it wasn't). Breakfast area is small and breakfast is serviceable. Nothing great, you pay for location.

Great staff, beautiful scenery

breakfast was great. Location was great. there’s no overhead light in our room and there’s no plug anywhere near the mirror so that two people could get ready at the same time and the water pressure at our sink was nonexistent. However, the shower pressure was great. The room felt a little damp unless we kept the temperature super low.

It is a great property located beautifully on the water I will definitely consider staying there again.

The property is in great shape except for the A/C in the exercise room. Could use more parking space.

Our stay was great. The beds were comfortable and the room had a view of the Cape Fear River. The breakfast had lots of options to choose from, which is quite nice.

The bed was comfortable and the front desk staff was nice No where to park, and having to pay to park with no spots to park
