Stay was good. Rooms do not have mini refrigerators which was a disappointment. Hotel is showing its age and is need of renovations.
-
The bad, self parking was inconvenient with having to use a card for access. In the halls, the carpet was dirty and the doors were scratched and dirty. I was glad the inside of the room was super clean.

We stayed here two years ago and love it but I was honestly surprised how much this property had gone downhill since. The floor and baseboards were quite dirty. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The toilet is mounted on the wall and it sunk and made noises when sitting on it. The wall is cracking around the mount like it may fall. The light on the bathroom mirror wouldn’t work and we could barely see in there. We had a river front room and the main window was too dirty to see out. I tried to clean the inside because it clearly hadn’t been done in some time. The smaller window was too molded to see out of. We were shocked at how neglected things seem now from when we were here last. The outdoor areas seem like an afterthought. The location is excellent and its walkability is unparalleled, unfortunately the hotel itself is in dire need of some deep cleaning and updates.

Not as expected in the pictures or reviews; property was not cleaned well.

Don’t be fooled, this is a run down hotel. My first room had strains on everything from the mattress to the sheets to pillow cases and even blood stains on the floor. The room smelled terrible too. It gives pay by the hour vibes but charges a premium because they are located on the river. I asked to be moved to a new room and was given a $10 gift card and told no rooms available. I spoke to a manager and he ended up “finding” a room after I showed pictures of blood. The room was better but still had holes in the walls and the ac stopped working. I was told if it gets hot outside the ac is old and doesn’t always work well. Every towel has stains on it to. Do yourself a favor and stay at Aloft instead. Fairly the same price and a much better hotel. This is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

Rooms do not have a small fridge or microwave.

We stayed for 2 nights for a wedding. Our suite was a good size, everyone was very nice and helpful. The room could use an update but was clean. We appreciated the amount of pillows. The hotel is good enough. Nothing super spectacular but good

They Lost my car keys. Late to my reservation. Charged for things did not had. And no apologies given

Everything was wonderful

The light in the bathroom didn’t work, the faucet was broken and the room wasn’t cleaned properly

After changing clothes I began to get a runny nose and was sneezing. After sleeping I woke the next morning with a horrible sinus headache and just feeling sick. I am pretty sure it was from the dirty AC pumping mold into the room. We all were sneezing the next day. The woman that was the hostess for breakfast was precious and accommodating as well as the woman that was our server. I found the front staff to not be super hospitable but only engaging when absolutely necessary. One man was helpful and friendly but overall they didn't try to be welcoming or greet you. In addition, the parking was pricey to me. And I am probably never going to return to the downtown River area in Wilmington again bc of the really scary people. We were yelled at and pretty intimidated by the area this year. Don't recommend.

Great pool side was untidy
-
Room was not ready until almost 5 pm. Windows in room foggy!
-
No complaints. Good hotel, good location.
-
Hotel is older and rather tired looking. Beds are rather soft and bathroom was rough (sloppy caulking and sealing around plumbing fixtures, peeling paint, shower drain had hair clumps in it). No fridge or microwave in rooms. Strange odor in hallways.

The bathroom lights could be brighter

It was okay, I have stayed here for years but this time I felt it was not as well maintained. I asked for a crib at check in time & they said they would deliver it. It was after 11 pm when we got back in that night & no crib, also no answer so we had to move the mattress in the floor so our 9 mth old wouldn't get hurt.

There was a bug in our room, didn’t tell us that you have to reserve the pool, a day ahead, the room was not very clean. parking was $50
-
We loved the pool, but thought house keeping could be improved in the rooms and in shared restroom areas. The rooms would be much improved with a mini fridge.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience here. Our room had not been cleaned well (or maybe not at all). There was hair on all the pillows on one of the beds, a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom and dirt and crumbs on the floor by the window and one of the beds. Our room was just by the elevator, which happens sometimes, but was noisy and hard to sleep. I am on a road trip with my 16 year old and it has been hot for us (we’re from the PNW) so the pool was a great opportunity. Unfortunately when we went in around 9 pm it was cloudy and felt oily so we weren’t in long. The staff was friendly enough, but didn’t provide any information on WiFi or anything at check in. At one point I went down the stairs instead of using the elevator and walked through a cloud of weed smoke and a couple of staff members who then told me the stairs were going to a private room so I should go another way. Why are fire door stairs going to a private room? I must have been missing something, I went to sit at a table by the back gate and the bar there was stick with a dirty glass sitting there and no one to be found. I’m general the hotel seemed poorly maintained. The location was amazing and the beds were comfortable. It was not an inexpensive hotel and not worth the cost at all. I would not reccomend it and so bummed it was not a better experience.
