Hampton Inn by Hilton Wilmington Downtown

Overall stay was okay. The bed sheets had severely stained which took three requests for them to be changed. On Tuesday they shut off all water to the hotel without any notice or notice it was back on.

This was our first time visiting Wilmington. We were there for a concert . Check in was so simple. The room was clean and ready for us . The staff were so nice and helpful with suggestions on restaurants . The breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay there again

Valet parking was exceptional and very responsive. Employees were friendly and efficient. On the other hand, corporate issues include—-Breakfast had A LOT to be desired, few choices, pre-packaged, no diverse items, few hot foods. Room had no ice bucket, no table lamp, poor lighting in bathroom mirror. No iron. Door stuck. All minor inconveniences

The hotel had excellent service, friendly ,helpful and respectful. The hotel was in great walking distance to every place we wanted to visit. We enjoyed our stay there and hope to return again.

Helpful staff and great sized room. The pool was closed though without prior notification. There was no shower curtain in the room (but the staff quickly fixed). The shower/tub drained terribly and filled up while trying to take a shower.

No free parking near the hotel! You had to walk several blocks to find any affordable parking.

Great sport for a quick trip. No parking lot for hotel guests. Staff was great!

Very well located. Breakfast was lacking though. Runs out fast.. not also not much to pick from. have to chase the people in charge so they can refill everything cause they put out small amounts and usually the place is packed. Could do better. However, the hotel itself is fine. Beds are a bit small so make sure to get the King size bed or two beds so you dont have to share. No need to use valet parking.. not even sure why they have that.. plenty of parking in and around the area. A bit pricey during the holiday but again it is well situated. Overall it was a good stay :)

My biggest complaint was the parking. We received an advance notice about parking that said valet parking was $25 or there was a parking garage “across the street” for $10. We got there and valet parking was $33 (and not very helpful). The parking garage was NOT across the street you had to go down half a block and turn left., then the garage was on the left….

Amazing location to walk around downtown! The carpets and general maintenance need help. Wallpaper peeling off and the carpets smell like old carpet

Parking situation will keep us from visiting again

Everything was really great. There is some mix up about valet parking charges. Charge should have been $29. I was charged $40 for one night valet parking. We left before 10:00 AM.

We got a double charge during are stay for the hotel experience
