No management skills especially with people. No communication or understanding of others!

By appearances, it seems that the hotel was either recently built or recently renovated, which is nice. It was comfortable and nicely appointed. A few complaints: parking was $12 a night on an open lot, which I've rarely seen in a hotel in a location like this. That was annoying. Also, though I frequently saw housekeeping on my floor, the hallways had a lot of debris and very visible dust-bunnies/carpet-fiber bunnies everywhere. It just looked messy, dirty and unkept, and they obviously don't vaccum all that often. My room had a leftover coffee pod in the machine from the last guest, and crumbs of food on the floor and the chair. And ants. When I told the front desk about it and asked for the room to be vaccumed...it wasn't. I stayed in the hotel for three more nights and housekeeping never once entered my room.

Hotel was clean and nice.

The stuffs are very helpful to refer seafood restaurants to me. They give water bottles everyday to guest. There is Starbucks, which provides free coffee and good coffees. They don’t provide continental breakfast.

Check In was complicated because the entire system was down

My only complaints against them is when I arrived to check in, I stood in the lobby alone for at least 10 minutes before someone came to help me. I guest came behind me and said that this was his fourth day there and had not seen anyone from housekeeping l, so he was coming to get new towels. I stayed for 3 days and never saw housekeeping either.

Registration system was down. Room refrigerator and AC malfunctioned for two days.

I stayed for 5 nights. Housekeeping service was provided for only 1 of those days, after I called the front desk. They advertise daily housekeeping. Apparently, management has no idea whether the rooms are cleaned or not. I've stayed here twice during business trips to Wilmington, but I will stay elsewhere on my next trip.

Empty Powerade bottle, a dirty sock and more concerning an unidentified pill on the ground. It took about 10 minutes both times to get staff to come to the front to check in or out. I had to ask for the cookie, and I thought we would both get one, Between us and our toddler we each got about 1 bite. Couch was stained and the drawer latch to access the safe was broken. I just expected better considering this was the most expensive hotel I stayed in the whole trip. Country inn and suites and Staybridge Suites had free parking and breakfast.

The staff was amazing.

It was a great stay. Room was clean and well kept. Staff members were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended and will stay here again when in town.

Location is good, not far from downtown. Staff needs to do better. I had to go to directly to the cleaning crew for new towels and ask them to take my overflowing trash. When i spoke to the front desk asking what the schedules were so we didn’t miss or sleep through the service (like we did the first day when we had to DND sign on the door and when we left the crew was in the very room next to ours) the answer we received was “they get to it when they get to it”. Well, they never got to it. 4 night stay with a DND sign used on our first night only and our room wasn’t cleaned a single time. Will not return.

Great all around. Great food and staff, Room was awsome, only.ring that could be better was the use of the TV. Not the greatest set up.

I was not aware that there would be $12 per day charge for parking. Nor was there a disclosure of it being $100 incidentals fee even though it was refunded. My husband wanted to pay cash and was told his card would not be billed it would just be the card on file. His card was billed instead. Did not like how easily none registered guest could enter the facility and get on the floor where paying guests were residing.

Very comfortable and clean. Staff were very nice and welcoming.

Property was very clean and the room was spacious. Very convenient location- less than 15 minutes to the beach and less than 15 minutes to the historic downtown area. Would absolutely stay here again.
