DoubleTree by Hilton Wilmington, NC

I stayed here for one night during a beach trip and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The location is excellent, with beautiful beaches just a short drive away. There are also plenty of restaurants, shops, and fun things to do nearby, making it a great place to stay. I also appreciated the indoor pool, which was a nice bonus. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

She acted pretty clueless to simple questions like, 'does the rook have a walk in shower, versus a tub, since I have a baby and toddler. I also asked which room would be more accommodating for having kids in tote, and she tried to book me in one that was very far from the elevator. Fortunately, another rep stepped in to assist, as they initial rep was also having computer/tech issues and couldn't check me in to the room she initially gave me. The initial rep also allowed another guest rudely cut in front of me in the middle of her giving me parking instructions. I was traveling alone with kids and voiced that and neither rep offered to have anyone assist with getting luggage/toys/walker/items upstairs or if carts were available. Also, I don't believe outside parking should be a nightly fee. Lastly, there were no cookies at checkin nor checkout, which is why I stay at DoubleTree properties.

One of the best hotel stays. I can’t remember the lady at the front desks name, but she is the one who had her arm in a sling and when I say she was one of the BEST parts of our stay. From the recommendations, to the accommodations, she made our stay feel like we were home. 10/10 recommended. Thank you!

Had an issue at the checkin where the room was not ready had to wait. The waiting was not an issue the problem was the staff seeing us tired and dosing off on the couch waiting and not letting us know when the room was ready. We had to ask, it was disappointing given that they were not occupied and were present at the reception.

Phone in my room wasn't working properly. I had asked for fresh towels and trash to be taken out before heading out for the day before lunch and it was not done when we got back to the room later in the evening.

Clean and up to date room, nice to store valuables in the safe, most of the rooms are away from the elevators, friendly and helpful staff, nice to have parking per day for a reasonable fee, and water bottle refill station on first floor

Housekeeping quit cleaning my room halfway through my stay.

Property itself and room was clean and mostly well maintained. Bathroom had some drainage issues in the shower. The biggest problem here is the lack of security in the parking area. You must pay for parking here and there are no cameras which is a major security issue in a high crime area like this one. Our car was broken into in this lot on this property and there was nothing that could be done due to the lack of cameras and security overall. Unless the property is planning on adding security to address this issue I would not recommend staying here.

Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Front desk was OK. lots of amenities but we did not utilize.

Hotel was great. Except the pool closed ridiculously early and on top of paying for the room they charged for parking. This is not a city location and no other hotel around there charges for parking. For this reason we will not be staying there again.

The hotel is very nice. Updated. Rooms are very clean. The staff was very nice and informative.

The Doubletree Hilton was fine but nothing amazing for the price. We were required to pay a parking fee of $12 per night in addition to the nightly rate. It was not displayed prominently that I saw when I booked the room. There are plenty of equally nice hotels around that don’t charge that. Buyer beware

Very nice short stay. I should’ve paid attention to the parking but it seems that everywhere in Wilmington, you have to pay for parking. A wonderful time! Will come back.
