Don’t expect to check in on time. Bed is super uncomfortable, makes a lot of noise with the springs and is super sunk in. I woke up in so much back pain. Floors were sticky, place smelled like dirty mop water. There was a random electrical hole in our wall in the room. They didn’t even have a toilet paper holder. The pool was the nicest thing they offered, but it’s shared with the connecting hotel, which might’ve been the better option for stay…

Wilmington is a beautiful town I spent my childhood here, but growth in the town including LeLa Hotel is exceptional. The elevated hotel experience is great for families, couples or business trip. Rooms are spacious and clean. Only small things closet has hangers but no bar to hang on. No microwave in room you have to walk to Tru Hotel But we lived the pool, siitting areas throughout and friendliness of staff.

I absolutely loved my stay! All of the staff were so helpful and kind. The amenities were amazing, well- kept and easy to access. I would absolutely stay again!

The pool is nice, the room was clean The location is sketchy, people watching me from the window, some staff were rude.

It was great. The sheets had a stain but they changed them immediately. The pool cabanas need to be cleaned but overall we had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The housekeeping schedule is not clear and shouls be explained upon arrival. Supposedly only after every second night, but you can be then pleasantly surpriaed when you don't expect the room to be cleaned and it is... Expedia advertises that the breakfast is included for $15 per person. In reality, you then receive at the hotel reception a $15 voucher for the restaurant on site which offers a good breakfast a la carte and then typically requires additional small payment. My tip: Don't prepay for the breakfast and keep your flexibility.

Overall, a clean and comfortable place to stay. There were plenty of towels, outlets and lighting. The morning staff when we were checking out were very friendly. The sliding barn door for the bathroom didn’t completely close off the bathroom. Not complete privacy. There were some very soiled spots in the hallway carpet.

The room was very clean but I think that this place is fairly new construction. I just had to clean the filters of the A/C ventilation system at the sink and then spray them down with Lysol as they were a little dusty. This should be done routinely by the housekeeping staff as part of their cleaning duties. My wife also suggested the bathroom shower should have handle bars as the shower floor became slippery after it got wet. Someone could slip and fall. The staff were very friendly, courteous and supportive including the front desk. We didn't get a chance to use the pool as we stayed for only 1 night. We also didn't use the bar but we did eat dinner at the ground floor restaurant called Paloma's which claimed to be inspired by Mexican, Cuban and Latino influence. Well my wife and I are Latinos and we didn't like the cooked food or the quality of the food. We have eaten at plenty of restaurants including hotel restaurants and this one did not meet the quality we expected. It was poor quality but the service was good.

The kids own the hotel.. They own the pool, everything the hall ways ,at the time the bar could serve alcohol of any kind.. Just not for me

I have stayed here multiple times and always been pleased with everything. I arrived only to discover after checking in that the bar was closed due to no license. I feel like Booking and the facility should reduce my rate because of this not being disclosed beforehand. The hotel bar is a big part of why I stay there.
