Baymont by Wyndham Wilmington

Our room only had hand towels—there were no bath towels or washcloths. We had to ask for basic amenities that should have already been provided. The hotel advertised breakfast being served but that was very misleading. The only options available were cereal and waffles to make matters worse they weren’t even any bowls or milk for the cereal available. The waffle station had an extremely long line, making breakfast frustrating rather than enjoyable. The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The floors were so dirty that the bottoms of our feet turned black from simply walking around the room. The bed sheets had cigarette burns, the hair dryer didn’t work, and there was visible mold in the air conditioning vent. To make matters worse there were children partying late into the night, and people from across the street were constantly coming onto the property throughout the night. The location did not feel safe, and it was nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Considering the price we paid, I expected a much better experience. At the very least, the hotel should ensure that the basic amenities are available. By making sure the rooms are clean and well-maintained, and guests can enjoy a safe, comfortable stay. Unfortunately, this hotel was awful and will not be returning!!

I know its was small hotel, but not very clean, water spilling everywhere, they need to work on cleaning overall... other that that good people,

As soon as we walked in, there was a large grayish stain on the comforter. The telephone table between the beds was missing and the phone was just sitting on the floor….? Which was filthy! There was grime by the phone up against the wall. There was a big patch of hair behind the door in the bathroom and the black tub was grayish also on the bottom - it maybe have been clean, but the tub sure didn’t look it. No chair to go with the table. Prong broke off on the lamp so I didn’t notice and thankfully didn’t get injured or electrocuted turning the light on! The lamp shade had rust spots. A half burned cigarette on the window will outside our room. Totally grossed out and we just left. It smelled like pee and pinesol! Just nasty! We wasted our money and didn’t even care. We were only in town for one night to pick our kids up from a local church camp. We got them early that day and hit the road home. Never have I ever seen a room so disgusting and smelling so bad!

The room , floors & bathroom was nasty . The floors were dirty & there was pubic hairs in plain sight in & around the toilet & bathtub / shower .

The beds were comfortable. These were not queen beds. There was mold on the shower ceiling and on the shower handle. The bottom of the bathroom door was busted. The outlets were busted and half didnt work. Microwave didnt work. The room was out dated.

Cleanliness should be a top priority for any hotel, and unfortunately, this property fell far below even basic standards. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others until these issues are properly addressed.

Room was dirty. Bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke and mold.

There was actual human excrement on the bed, like someone had diarrhea on the corner of the comforter and they just tucked it under the mattress to hide it. I called the office, they said they would send someone right up to fix it. An hour later, i went to tbe office to ask them why no one came by, they were rude and told me to wait. Well, it was 8 at night and the kids were ready for bed, we waited long enough. There were cleaning staff in their laundry room, they did change the bedding.

The price was just right, but the they put us in aa room that smelled like a dead dog. They moved us to another room that really didn't smell any better. But front desk did try to fix the problems. You can't blame them, its housekeeping and who ever is checking rooms. Housekeeping and who ever check rooms need to be trained again
