Extended Stay America Suites Wilmington New Centre Drive

The flooring was peeling up, the carpet had numerous stains; the curtains had numerous holes; the smell was terrible; the fridge was dented; the mini stove hot plates were completely rusted. Staff was very kind, but the building desperately needs a renovation and a pay raise for.staff.

I couldn't get my first sentence out before the desk clerk interrupted me without even looking at me and asking for my credit card. There is trash around the property and peeling paint. Then the next morning I was told there were no ice machines, that you had ice trays in your freezer. For the money they charge, this place is a rip-off.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean.

Although the hotel provide a full kitchen but no cooking staff/plates, etc in the kitchen. Hotel let us to barrow but with very limited choice.

Staff was excellent

Parking was good. Rooms were ok, I found a cockroach. The hallways smells really bad like dirty carpet.

The building was real clean along with workers and their Uniforms.The place was clean with excellent food service

There should be a minimum standard “breakfast included.” This hotel made us feel uncomfortable, offered only muffins for breakfast, and was way overpriced. Stay somewhere else.

The location The room smell was horrible the chair that was in my room was covered in black mold the front desk receptionist said he couldn’t believe they left that in the room I woke up early this morning with a pounding headache I think due to the odor from the room

The Staff, and the room were nice The property per se wasn’t an issue, Booking.com is and when reviewed I’d be eager to speak with a representative, you’re the only thing to discredit from this property.

Breakfast was minimal grab and go. Muffins, and dry pastries were offered with coffee and tea. The cleanliness of this place was below my personal standards. We always strip our beds upon departure... and found a dirty, used towel underneath where my partner slept the night before! It was an unpleasant discovery to say the least. When I disclosed this the front desk upon check out, and he asked if I knew who cleaned our room. Well, the rooms envelope told us who it was. Upon that further information, he seemed unsurprised and proceeded to ask me to leave a review. No refund or any other type of compensation offered.

Nothing The smell, the rhythm I’m, the A/c smelled, the whole place was dirty, and random items were left out in the lobby. People smoking drugs outside

I was yelled at by a member of staff in front of a so called assistant manager however nothing was done. Both me and booking.com attempted reaching the general manager but calls were not returned to either. The whole situation made me uncomfortable but I was unable to leave because my requests for a refund were ignored.

However, I would not choose to stay here again. Upon check-in, the front desk had me sign a strict no-smoking policy, yet when we entered our room, there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. As a parent traveling with my children, this was concerning. Unfortunately, it was late in the evening and we weren’t able to make other arrangements, so we made the best of the situation for the night.

I’ve been to many extended-stay properties and this has yet been the worst. At first glance, it seems OK but then you feel like you’re walking into an old motel. The smell that comes from the very dirty carpet in the hallways is atrocious and it gets worse as you walk into the bedroom. My bedroom had a very strong smell of urine by the closet area.It’s almost as if they haven’t had the carpet cleaned in a very long time. This is the property that accepts pets and I can only imagine what happens in these rooms. Everything else in the bedroom seemed pretty clean, although I did find a cockroach crawling on the desk chair in the room. The staff I would say were OK. I had actually extended my stay and called the Front Desk past 11 AM to informed them that I had extended my stay online and they we’re able to answer my question but I will say that the Tone was very much pressing, and in less than a 10 minute. Had called me twice to make sure I come down to the front desk to add a card for incidentals when I was already staying in the hotel and told them I would be coming down.
