Tru By Hilton Wilmington Wrightsville Beach

Exceptional

Very good

James at the desk was great. He was friendly and attentive to any needs.

Friendly staff. We enjoyed the billiards. Great location.

Proximity to UNCW Smell coming from the ac unit

We loved the convenience to what we were there for, we loved the vibe of the main floor and breakfast. Generally felt very safe until the breakfast incident. (Below) Our room was perfect and our big window was nice for the sunrise. Loved the desk set up and that there was a blowdryer in the room. Unlimited coffee was nice. All staff we encountered was very friendly. One thing I didn’t like about the property is that there wasn’t always someone at the front desk. (Not sure if it would have stopped this incident though) One morning, there was a man that walked in that clearly seemed to be on drugs and not a guest. He proceeded to help himself to breakfast (while my son was also getting breakfast. I had just sat down) He then took his breakfast to the top floor where he ate and left his mess. He made us uncomfortable just walking in, but then returning to our room and seeing him sitting in the window at the end of the hall was also unsettling. We were interested in how he made it that far and no one questioned him. It seemed as if he was very comfortable and had done this before.

Location and cleanliness Mattress was a little uncomfortable

Friendly staff, easy check in process, good breakfast

The staff went out if their way, to make sure we were comfortable.

Needless to say very disappointed, otherwise staff was nice and rest of facility clean Asked for new clean room but system was down and they couldn’t so

Extremely clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast/coffee area was so nice and comfortable. The food was good. Thanks for serving good quality coffee!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay

It offers you the possibility to create and enjoy many different approaches to a nutritious breakfast. I choose a clean and protein filled breakfast, Wife choose "Caveman" diet. Pleased with all. I drink only black coffee without any "flavors" and did enjoy theirs. Longer time for breakfast, Closing at 9:30 is too early! They do have longer hours during the weekend,,,,

The room was very clean and neat. When we allowed housekeeping to come in to our room they did exactly what we needed, clean sheets and towels. Staff was always friendly and helpful and the fresh hot coffee always available in the lobby was wonderful.

No pool

Spartan but clean and efficient. Quiet, excellent breakfast. Friendly staff
