It's was my granddaughter's 9th birthday trip celebration to Canada's water park. I chose the Doubletree because I'm a member and I always enjoy my stay. This stay was no different. The customer service was great. There was always someone to check in to see if we needed anything. The staff was very friendly welcoming. Oh, I can't leave out the delicious cookies. That's always a plus for my husband. I really can say that there was nothing wrong. My sister and daughter had an issue with their water, but the staff resolved it quickly.

No refund available if you didn’t stay at the hotel which is absurd if I didn’t stay, I don’t see why I have to pay. I think one thing that has to be changed that if you don’t stay at the property, you didn’t step foot at the property then you shouldn’t pay for it.

Rooms were very clean, When I called to ask about checking in early the staff was pleasantly accommodating and helpful. I had checked into our room. It was very warm in the room (77°) and turned on the account to as low as I could get it to go (65°). It would go to 70° and turn off, I turned off auto and wanted the fan to continuously run. We had left for a wedding and when we got back at midnight it was very hot in our room once again. Went to the front desk and we were told there were no other rooms, they sent someone up but she said it was working fine, I explained the issue but she couldn't understand. ,needless to say, I was up most the night making sure the ac stayed on.
