Very pleasant stay. The hotel was clean and staff was professional and friendly

The towels were all dirty and appeared they had been used and rehung for the next guest. The bed sheets had not been changed. There were a stain on the white comforter. Fortunately, I traveled with my own towels and had one to dry off with after I took my shower. After I dressed I went to the front desk and spoke with Samantha about this situation.. At that time she informed me there were no housekeeping done to my room today and told me to gather everything and she would give me what I needed to replace what should have been in the room upon arrival.. I wasn't happy having to do housekeeping duties for a room that I booked over three weeks ago. This is not my 1st time staying at this Marriott. I was there on May 15th when my daughter graduated. Sent an email no one replied back to me.

Good customer service at Bar.

The hotel was out of body wash soap for the shower . According to a staff member, they haven’t had any for a week!
-
Hotel was clean, staff helpful, would have thought coffee would have been free, and in the lobby to enjoy!

Bar guy was nice. Dirty. Pool was broken. Lost power at 9p then generator went out and no emergency lighting at all anywhere. It was pitch black dangerous and unsafe. Meth heads sleeping in parking lot. No complementary water tea or coffee in lobby, had to have a “ticket” to get coffee. Bathroom had hair in tub when arrived.
-
Our room was very clean. The halls had a mildew smell. The pool was not open, which was not an issue for us, but a lot of other guests were pretty upset about that. It’s in a great location that’s under construction, so my thought is that the current hotel will be updated soon.

This hotel has a good location and has been an adequate hotel in previous visits, however, there were quite a few issues during our recent stay including a 45 minute wait for our food at breakfast, bugs in the room and power went out for an extended period.
-
Pool was down, room needs to be updated, NO free coffee or breakfast. Property needs to be cleaned up. Parking lot has multiple areas of broken asphalt.
-
We chose this hotel to be close to an event across at the college.
-
The hotel staff was lovely. They were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean but a little dated. Overall I recommend the hotel.

The breakfast arrangements need to be made clearer. The is no free breakfast, you have an option to purchase a breakfast. Which is a choice, but should be made clear. There was not even free coffee in the lobby, really!! The staff was great, room very comfortable, except no TV Guide. I understand the breakfast is a Marriot guide, the room rate was good, but the no coffee added a negtaive.

The room was very musty and dated. The pillows were the worst. Overall we felt the room was overpriced for the quality present. The staff was nice and helpful.
