The pools were great for my kids they had a blast. Some of the stuff needed updated.

Every thing Nothing
-
Clearly some deferred maintenance, pool area run down (peeling paint). But my kids did not notice at all, and had a blast in the pool area. Something that adult eyes see and kids are just focused on fun water slides and joy. Clearly some deferred maintenance. Pool has peeling paint, sofa bed had some mold stains on the cushion. Nothing that bothered us, and I didn't see it until the last day so there was no point in changing rooms, but someone more sensitive to mold would have an issue.

There was a very awful smell of mildew in our level 1 room.

Advertised as breakfast included and there was none.

Outdoor pools were ice cold and unbearable.. kids were running around, banging on our doors all night.. our original room smelled so bad we had to switch rooms. It just sucked this time. We will be finding a new hotel from now on

Property appeared run down and not maintained. It used to be very nice at one time.

Passable

I loved the theme and the environment. I didnt like how it hasn't been updated or really cleaned in who knows how long. The staff didn't seem happy, there was nothing in the gift shop, the outside pool and the pool on the 1st floor wasn't accessible or working. I knew the place was old and had some history but I was expecting a little more awe spending over 500 on 2 nights with one bed and the pullout couch for my kids was so bad. Haha

This property had it all. Not only was the room a suite and what you’d pay double for at any other hotel, but there is two pool/activity areas on property. One indoor and one outdoor. Our room had king bed, fold out couch, and two queen beds….AND a jacuzzi tub! Such a good value. I honestly love supporting Atlantis. It is one of the few hotels that survived the Mount Olympus buy out in Wisconsin Dells. A classic.

They internet was down so we didn’t have WiFi so we couldn’t watch tv or nothing

The room was nice but when the AC was turned on large dust balls flew out everywhere. There was still trash in the cans from the previous gust’s stay. There were also candy wrappers left in the drawers. The TV wouldn’t work and no one could help because there were no maintenance on duty on a Tuesday. The down side was that no one spoke English. The woman at the counter was very nice and really tried but she had a very hard time communicating. My husband had to use Google Translate to talk with her. The pool area was very clean and the people were nice and did try.
