Atlantis Family Waterpark Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The hotel is old, at 44yrs i recall it shiny and new as a kid, but it was great for what I booked. Except they didnt except my paid deposit thru hotels.com but I ended up with the hot tub suite and not the regular suite so I think there was a language barrier, and only increased the rate 100 for the 3nts. We ended up using the in room hot tub a couple times (after beating ourselves up at my.olympus wave pool and land of natura both must-dos btw!) because after using the outdoor one we found it quite dirty. 12yr old son loved the outdoor pool/slide warmer than 1st floor indoor one, on-site pools are truly geared for little kiddos <10 upstairs indoor pool is typical size/depth/had a huge kids party going when we arrived. Probably a fun cheap place for locals to frequent?? The teens loved all there was to walk too, entertainment food and some even hiked to Mt Olympus from there. The staff never changed the towels or anything even with 3nts booked thankfully I brought 5 with of my own. We were 3rd floor so the balcony was great for drying items. the beds were comfy n clean and the door separating the two rooms with individual climate control was appreciated. Overall good value for the price stayed 6.28-7.1 pd $457 total for the 2bedroom (1king/ 2 queen /hottub suite) the 50 deposit they returned as promised there wasn't any continental brkfst options (small pay pantry downstairs) but the fridge/micro area is sufficient for a grocery run!

Our room needed a vacuum,some of the pool items were not safely maintained ...the lobby was clean ...asked for references to discounted attractions and 2 different employees had no information and acted as if they had no idea about what I was asking . Of course no breakfast but had a setup as if they could have . Overall disappointed the kids loved it..

Last minute resort pick. For the price I would stay at a newer place. No WiFi . Bugs in bathroom. Needs to be updated!

This hotel it was amazing

If you want to stay somewhere with black mold in the showers and crumbling concrete on their slides for a premium price choose this place. Also the magnum rubber by my car in the parking lot was fun to explain to the kids. Watch out for the broken tiles going to and from the pool if you’re not wearing shoes as well.

The room was ok! Had a weird smell and hen we got there, the sheets were stained and a comforter had makeup stain. We could NOT connect to the internet and we couldn’t use the TV! I wouldn’t go back to this hotel.

They call not checking out at 8am late check out housekeeper came knocking early then reported we did a late check out . Kept $10 from security deposit bc of that when check out is at 10am. Yall need to keep tabs on yall housekeepers.

Staff were very friendly! There’s wasps nests EVERYWHERE, couldn’t enjoy the balcony due to that and could barely enter the doors without one diving at us, the mini fridge in the room didn’t work, tv remote barely worked and beds were super uncomfortable, the pools were okay but this whole place needs updating. I appreciated the two room option. I don’t think we will stay here again.

First off I want to say, the staff here were absolutely wonderful and my kids had a really great time here as did I considering the trip was all about them having a great time. Now, the reason I’m rating this hotel so low is because of the outdated claims made as far as what this place has to offer and the cleanliness of the hotel. There is no breakfast and they do not offer passes to any of the surrounding water parks or attractions. Those were the two main reasons I booked this place to begin with so after our two night stay when I asked about the passes and was told “oh we don’t offer them and have not for a long time. AI is the reason for it saying that in some places online and sorry there’s nothing we can do”…. I was honestly heartbroken. We can’t afford a lot of things right now so finding a cool/unique place to stay that offers park passes to the closest water park was exciting because one it was somewhat in reach with our current financial situation and two it had its own mini water park and arcade on site, sounded like a major win. I ended up having to barrow the money for passes for my family and I and got a bit of a deal buying the passes on Groupon. We also had to get creative with breakfast because they do not have anything

My family and I had a nice time, staff was helpful, room was very nice and we loved the set up of the suite we were in. The only thing was WiFi was not working too well, but it did not bother us too much. We came for the waterparks.

It had a smell in the room like mold, it had a dehumidifier in it, like stuff got wet. Tv dud nit work and the ice machines too.. could not stay had to find another motel.. hoping to get my money back..
