Comfort Suites Near Potomac Mills

Decent hotel, clean, but a bit outdated especially the bathtub and shower. The first room had a deadbolt that would not lock, but the staff quickly transferred us to a new room upon request. The indoor pool looked really cloudy and dirty, we didn't try to swim in it but I wouldn't have trusted it even if we had wanted to. The breakfast was great though and overall we had a pleasant stay.

Clean and quiet hotel.

Stay was great until I tried to watch tv. Only 1 remote worked could not change channels

Comfortable beds, clean room. A few observations: The room door was not easy to open and there was an inch of space under the door. The dresser in the bedroom had drawers that did not shut.

From the moment I walked in, the vibes were off. The front desk staff did not greet me and acted as if I was being a burden by being there. Gave me two rooms like I had booked and initially would not accommodate them being on the same floor but after a minute they were able to find adjacent rooms?Both rooms were dirty , smelled like marijuana and the sofa beds either had dirty grime on them or blood stains and hair from a previous guest on the blanket. They changed rooms for me, but accidentally double booked and a random person walked into my room so they had to change it again. Even the new rooms seemed as if they had never been cleaned and had literally dirty floors. The bathrooms were clean though which was a relief.One of the night staff was without a uniform walking around in socks, very unprofessional. Breakfast was mediocre, and the other facilities were lacking. The traffic from here to DC is also crazy at all times, it will double your commute. The only saving grace was the person staffing the morning breakfast who was so friendly and helped us with our dietary restrictions. The only reason we stayed here was because we needed rooms with three beds and this was the only hotel that had availability. If you can find another hotel, do it. They had signs saying that if you do a survey and give them a perfect score you will get 1000 points, explains the high rating I think. Dont stay here if possible.

Low on towels and wash cloths

The room served its purpose and overall it was a decent stay as far as safety. However, there were many things that ended up being very disappointing. The pull out couch bed was filthy (stains , hair and obviously not changed, used linen. ) The king bed was dusty and spiked my allergies terribly . The room had remnants of a smoke odor , the bathroom was outdated ( especially the shower) which had notable red mold in the shower head. The water pooled to your feet while using it. There were no bathroom exhausts and the vent looked so filtly . It would usher in smells from elsewhere in the hotel . They ran out of towels and housekeeping never came to replenish the room. Although the staff were respectful, I will not pick this hotel again . Not for the price I paid vs the lack of service and lack cleanliness I experienced.

Clean and comfortable hotel

It was fine for one night. The room was clean, and breakfast was good, but the pool is tiny and very dirty. We didn’t get in. There were also faint marijuana smells throughout the property.

The stay was terrible, it was a one night for the most absurd price I’ve ever paid for a hotel night. The elevator did not work at all so we had to go up the stairs, the pool was green and disgusting and for breakfast, people from outside would come in the hotel to eat. The worst experience ever! Never again.

Clean property, stayed one night on our way through to the beach, kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was just ok, nothing too spectacular.

The breakfast was good and the room was ok. However, you need to ask to get your room cleaned. This was not noted at check-in. When the room was cleaned, they did a great job. Our AC was broken for the duration of the trip. They provided us with fans, but they do not have maintenance Friday-Sunday. The windows don't open, so it was very uncomfortable. We were not offered to move to another room.

Worst breakfast! Not a lot of choices! I have stayed in a similar hotel but their breakfast is worst! Even the coffee!

Quick 1 night stay. It was a bit noisy bc of the set up of the hotel…but it was very clean. Breakfast on weekends doesn’t start till like 8 so we missed it! But coffee was always available

This was my second stay at this Comfort Inn. The place looked better than the 1st time. I was informed the have done renovations since my last stay. The staff was very friendly, especially the Manger, Robert. The breakfasts were good. I really appreciated the clean suits and every one I saw had a living room. I would recommend this Comfort Inn to everyone. When I come back to the Potomac/Woodbridge area, I will stay there again.

I had a great visit and stay the front receptionist Miss Mary did a great job and assisting me with any and everything that was needed

The air conditioning vent was very dusty

The staff were helpful and kind. When we arrived earlier than the checking in time, they help us to get the room ready so we can unpack everything. We visited the city for an Ice Skating Competition this weekend!

AC unit in room extremely loud. This hotel remodel was lipstick on a pig.
