Staybridge Suites Waco South - Woodway by IHG

Hotel was really humid. Rooms did not have internal AC and were pulling humidity in. In doing so there was mold and the carpets felt wet. Lots of space and newer upgrades but felt like an old hotel with some new lip stick put on it.

Our room desperately needed a deep cleaning. Nothing in the kitchen worked, which is why we wanted a suite in the first place. Our towels were dirty but the bed was clean. Furniture was run down. We never got to use the pool because the key cards wouldn’t work despite trying to fix them several times.

Everything was great but pets are allowed and there is carpet in elevator. Staff did their best to maintain area clean but there was a smell.

Bo

Very adequate place, and I would stay again.

One side of the sliding glass door was missing so the water from the shower flooded the floor. Dangerous.

Everything The staff and cleanliness also hot breakfast The amenities

Very nice! Great breakfast!

Very nice facility! It was like an apartment!

My entire stay was blessed.

Missing shower door

The front desk manager could not reverse the charge. She offered to write a letter to my bank requesting the charge be released. It took 5 business days before the charge fell off.

Loved the location, the area was clean, easy to access.

Free laundry on site

They are undergoing renovations. They only had half a shower door so the floor was soaking wet. The electrical was way off so you had to have a light on in the main room for the bathroom to turn on. Also, the closet door were glued shut so we couldn’t get to hangers.

Room was incredible for the price - clean and very spacious! More like an efficiency apartment than a hotel room! Pool was clean and well maintained as was the nice grilling area (bonus!) The gym was very clean, good size, good variety of equipment and all the equipment was functioning. The breakfast was awesome! Definitely one of the best free breakfasts I've had in a long time. Everything was fresh and there was a wonderful variety to choose from. Would absolutely stay here again (have already booked my next visit) Very little negatives I can say. I work out daily and finding a hotel with a good gym area is always very important to me. This was one of the better hotel gyms I've seen so far; however, I think it might need better A/C or airflow because, although I do expect to get hot and sweaty working out, it felt like there was no A/C to help get cooled back off and I had to cut my workout a little shorter than normal. Also, the breakfast was fantastic and I was so happy to find such great options especially healthy ones that fit my lifestyle, I was sad that the apple juice dispenser was either out or malfunctioning. I get up very early in the morning to workout and then go to breakfast, so I was one of the first people there and that makes me think it must not have been working properly. No biggie. Was still really great.

The rooms were amazing and the staff was super friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay again!

Cleanliness and fresh breakfast

The pool The ac; it was a little warm rather than the cold that I’d prefer.

100 !!
