Room was dirty. Building looked a bit dilapidated.

Breakfast was fairly good. Was neat they had a pancake machine that made your pancakes in front of you. No ladder in pool yet pool was open and warm. Greatest disappointment was beds had been reconstructed to be doubles rather then queens as advertised.

The lobby looked okay and the staff was friendly but the room had seen better days. The carpet was pulling away from the walls. I could have overlooked this until the nightime and all of the roaches decided to come out. We took pictures and stopped counting after 10.

Wall paper peeling off, the toilet was cobbled together, the furniture is dirty/stained, had to replace our fitted sheets. Had marks and bad wear spots on it. The breakfast was OK. There is no elevator so we carried our luggage and cooler up the stairs.

The air conditioner was loud and vibrated. The room was very dated. On the other hand, the lobby was nice, and the breakfast they provided was fair giving the impression that the room was also satisfactory.

Half of the property seems to be under renovation. Room was acceptable. Only complaint was the outdated AC unit that only seemed to work sometime leading to a very uncomfortable sleep. The outdoor area is very pleasant. Pool is outdoor and cold. Breakfast had a great selection.

Walked in, saw roaches crawling all over the beds, immediately walked back out.

I was pleasantly surprised that the King Size Smoking Room was nice and clean. It did not have a stale smoke smell! The bed was very comfortable, and the body wash smelled good.

checked in at midnight and the computers were down. took 30 minutes to check in which should have taken only 5 minutes. The guys behind the counter could not get the computers to come back up timely

Unsafe and dilapidated

The place was under some kind of remodel or something. There was contents of rooms stacked outside and in hallways, some covered up. My room was clean and everything worked. They advertise breakfast but it was only some breakfast sandwiches which you had to microwave yourself and a few packets of donuts. I saw some machine that said it made pancakes but I decided not to try to figure it out.

The sheets were clean. Smelled very smokey. They had the smoke alarm covered with a plastic bag. Im sure the housekeepers did not notice! The sink had left over toothpaste.

The pictures for this property are extremely deceiving. Upon arrival I had a not so great feeling. Lack of cars in parking lot. We should have known to just cancel right there. At check in the gentleman was very nice. We got checked in went up to our room. While walking in you could see beds stacked outside and rooms that had nothing in them. We thought okay, they are just remodeling. Only got worse from there. The pool was closed and not maintained at all. The room was filthy. Hair on the shower wall, left over food in the refrigerator, floors were not swept at all and specks of who knows what on the mattresses. The fact it made my kids feel uneasy, we were checked out immediately . The gentleman at the front desk did offer another room but that was just a flat out no. If your property is unkept that much your pictures should reflect instead of just continuous people checking out and losing money.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTIONS!

This hotel stay was what we needed--a clean bed for the night. We left a watch charger (not a typical charger) in the room and were in Williamsburg before realizing our mistake. We called them the same afternoon that we checked out, and they went to the room, found the charger, kept it for a week, and we picked it up and the way back through. I thought that was outstanding and it saved us a few bucks for a small detour.

None of the amenities were open.

Bed bugs. Visible blood spots and “black specs” on bedclothes. Floors were oddly very slippery. Wiped a small area with a wet paper towel and it came up black. Entire place in disrepair. It was so bad that, at 10pm, after driving over 7 hours, we demanded a refund and left for another hotel. At first I was told that I couldn’t get a refund until the manager showed up in the morning. Luckily I paid cash, and demanded they just give it back. Do not stay here. It’s cleaner under the nearest bridge, guaranteed! Less bed bugs too.

It looks as if the hotel is under a major redo. Rooms were clean and in good condition, but one of our rooms smelled terribly of smoke. Has a nice outdoor pool and staff was very friendly.

Not very clean and up to date.

It advertises for an outdoor pool which is why I booked it. We got in our room and the walls were covered in black marks. The floor was sticky and dirty. The bathroom However was clean. The bathroom door looked like they removed a mirror and did not take the clumpy glue off the door. The beds were comfy but super small. There is no way these beds were double size. They definitely were a 3/4 ths bed. It was very quiet, but only because no one was there. The mirrors had gunk all over them. Once I did a quick clean myself, I called to see if the pool was open because we went to look at it and it was filled but looked as if they were working on it. When I called it was closed. I realize they are renovating this but even the room we stayed in was poorly renovated. Too bad because this could be such a cute place. They should focus on cleanliness and tamale the pool a center focus. It’s huge and nice and open. They seem to be renovating very cheaply
