Fantastic spot for a little get away

The bed was wonderful. Lobby was beautiful. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Phone previous to stay) that gluten-free bread was available. It was not. Eggs did not taste —or look—like fresh eggs. No real milk or non-dairy milk — for coffee. Decor is depressing. Inner rooms dark and severely dated. Plus is updated bathroom from stay some years ago.

Nice well maintained property. The place was right across the street from The Mall of Abilene. We really liked the sunday breakfast.

This place is run down, dirty, and loud. The furniture is from the 90’s and the pull out couch is like sleeping on a torture rack. We found several items in our room that seemed to have been left by former guests, and other signs of haphazard cleaning. There was a very loud party going on downstairs in the ballroom with bass so loud we could feel it until after 10 PM! And the hotel staff didn’t warn us or seem to care. The breakfast was mediocre and the pool was nothing special. Hard pass.

Breakfast was great, a little of everything, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, cereal, yogurt, etc. And four free drinks during Happy Hours. The hotel is a little dated, the baseboard to one of the cabinets was found detached and most of the wood fixtures had worn marks on them.

The property is old fashioned, we have stayed multiple times but this last time it had a musty smell in the room when you first walked in. Other than that. It was great. Bed is very comfortable. Rooms are clean. Walking distance to mall and Lowe’s and even a gas station. Very close to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast is awesome. You can get a full breakfast. They even have free drinks in the evening each night of your stay.

Very easy to get to and desk staff were nice. Lots of college aged kids on computers throughout the hotel. Breakfast staff seemed irritated by a lot of things. Breakfast was not as good as other places we have stayed. The room wasn’t bad, but a few things need to be fixed or amended.
