Hampton Inn Akron-South

First we were greeted with a smile and I felt very welcomed. One staff member even offered us some her own cookies. The room was clean. And the parking was good

Large comfortable rooms, many options (cold and hot) for breakfast that were continually refreshed, smiles from all the staff

the woman at the front desk was great. we got there before check in and rather then making us wait an hour or so, she had the staff get our room ready. great job.

My only issue is that 2 days in a row they did not refill our towels and we had to ask for more from the front desk Not that the staff would know but, we were in town for a big music festival so when we get back at midnight from a long day of mosh pits, sitting in the dirt and everything that goes with a metal festival. Fist thing we wanted to do was shower. 2 of the 3 days of the festival as I'm getting ready to shower we have no towels. Of course, this is only a minor inconvenience. Let's move to the positives, Breakfast is by far the best I've had at any hotel I've stayed at. Omlets, waffle bar, fresh fruit. It was all so good. Small gym was also nice to have access to.

This was a very nice hotel. We only had one issue. The refrigerator in our room made a noise like an alien breathing most of the night. The noise would stop at 5 a.m. for a few hours, but it was consistent for the rest of the day.

Quiet room

Carla was a great receptionist ! She answered all my questions and was very polite and helpful! However when I booked the hotel, I booked it for the pool as well, but it was under maintenance and nowhere on the site. Did it say that so I was really upset. When I got there and found out the pool was under maintenance

The property was very clean and well cared for. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only improvement needed is the breakfast bar.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with great options. Location was excellent with plenty of restaurants, shopping and attractions nearby. Would absolutely stay again.

The room was clean and staff was amazing but staff failed to tell us that their pool has not been cleaned in a week. We got out the pool to a housekeeper letting us know maintenance has been suspended for a week and pool was not cleaned. When we spoke to the supervisor samantha i was only gave 10% of my money back 21 dollars is not worth my kids getting sick due to staff not communicating or caring about peoples health

Unable to fix clogged sink and rubber stop on door frame til morning. We were only staying 1 night and leaving before the sun came up to catch a flight.

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was delicious
