Staff was very friendly & accommodating

The person who checked me in wasn't very welcoming, luckily the person that checked me out was great even while busy and on the phone.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My upstairs neighbors were making a ton of noise all night. It sounded like they were dropping heavy things.

Location!!! Parking… If you have a late evening and coming back is hard to find a parking space
-
The location, the room and the coffee and snacks. I liked everything about it.

We didn't have enough towels

Check in process seemed extraordinarily long. First came the processing of our payment arranged through Hotels.com wrnsite. Then came a security deposit fee. Then came the identify your car license plate. I understand step 3 to a degree. I’m not clear on why many hotels don’t apply a step 2 (deposit). Perhaps I’ve been staying in the wrong parts of town.

We had the standard room which didn't have a full view of the Marina, but we had a partial view that was still very nice. Rooms and lobby area were cozy, clean and well maintained. Appreciated that there was microwave, small fridge and coffee station; also a laundry room. Additionally we really appreciated the free parking! Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed staying at this little hotel. Only complaint would be on the second day, the bedsheets were not changed and they ran out of washcloths.

Rooms are large enough and refreshed. I prefer staying upstairs as downstairs you hear everyone making noise above? Needs some upkeep externally beyond paint - some old wood beginning to rot and need replacing etc.

I loved that they gave me a water front view at no extra cost.

Super clean and great value for money There was no sockets for electronics in the bathroom and the windows were difficult to open / close

The bed was confortable. The room was clean, with a nice balcony Bathroom could be improved: hot and cold water tap did not work well and there was a leak at the shower door.
-
very unprofessional, unwelcoming no hand soup in the rooms. the receptionist lacked cooperation very rude.

My wife and I had a great time. Please go to Treasure Island for an SF city view from the Bay! Make sure of nice weather and no/less fog.

For only one night I’d say it was good. Clean room, bed comfortable. There was fridge and a coffee maker. The staff was friendly. The area seems to be safe enough. Overall can’t complain. Interestingly, there were a few cars on the property’s parking lot that were damaged, broken and seemed to be not operational, looks like the been parked there for a while… Not very comforting feeling…

Room was clean and comfortable. Nice walking path along water. Staff curtious and informative at check in.

Recently purchased by new owners who have clearly striven to rebuild this unique property. Mind you, this is not the Taj Mahal, but for a clean, convenient respite, this place is great if you're in Alameda.

Nice property near the marina. Very quiet generally although I could hear door slams late at night which could be due to lack of insulation between rooms. Very nice balcony space with a lounge chair and table which is nice if you get the room with a view of the Marina. Would stay there again if in the area!

It was frustrating. I had two main things I wanted to do: get some work done and watch the World Cup. The Wi-Fi was atrocious and I had to use my cell service, which was also pretty bad though not their fault. The TV kept needing to be logged in or would switch inputs or just stopped working. And then even though it was off, the TV turned on in the middle of the night, a bright white shining light, like a beacon for ships from Hawaii to find their way to the hotel. It made no sense. I had to unplug it to make it stop. Plus, the bathroom light was out. Just an unpleasant experience. Oh, right! Plus there were several barking dogs while I was trying to sleep at night. That was infuriating!
