The coffee maker did not work in any outlet. One of the switches by the door controlled a wall sconse, the other apparently did nothing. AC was down in tht room, I knew that and said it was acceptable. The faucet in the battroom basin was not properly connected to the counter. The ends were sliding by 1//2 inch or rmore when the water temperature was changed. The cost benefit was not enough to entice me to return, - - D. Scott Bonomi

The room was in very clean condition. The staff was helpful.

The worst hotel I ever saw in many cities I traveled, I ask for a refund, they confirmed they will do it, but I don't see that payment back in my credit card, I agreed to pay one night but never stayed there, was so dirty and awful!

The hotel great place to stay however it is Oakland and the train still wake you up at 4 AM

My husband and I stay at hotels quite often. We travel a lot and we use Expedia for most of our days. Out of the hundreds of hotels we have stayed at this is our first and only experience with roaches in our hotel room! It was disgusting and it ruined our trip as we were very tired from traveling and had to call the front desk and they will not accommodate us.

Everything was great. The rooms were clean and the a/c actually worked this time. My ONLY issue was the blind strands of hair on the sheets. Had two beds so I was fine.

Not suitable for disabled people; sidewalk broke up not safe for a disabled persons. Hotel and rooms not ADA compliant. Toilet too low if you are disabled but great if you were a child, clogged most time. It stated house-keeping every day, not true at all. Continental Breakfast, not continental at all. They had coffee, ok flavor, milk, cereal, toast. No trays to carry anything to your table, no fresh fruit or eggs. Shower has no place to put shampoo or soap if bending to the floor was not an option. no anti-skid rug in the shower and not towel for floor after shower. All the hookers in the hallway were entertaining up to a point...

This was an awful experience. Although the check in attendant was corgial, there were many "Ladies of the night workers" walking around and simply dirty elevator. We ended not staying there. It was too unsafe and dirty. My money was not returned unfortunately.

The staff was fantastic; friendly and helpful. I was disappointed with the breakfast- toast, toaster pancakes, cereal. Luckily the location is awesome and all kinds of foods within walking distance.

The hotel has spiders and bugs. Although I can’t complain about the staff because they were actually helpful and kind. But the owner of the building should really consider renovating it. That will be no more than $50 a night. Honestly, I woke up in a roach was on the other bed dead!

There were people screeching and fighting in the hallway which scared me away. I wouldn’t recommend it.
-
the newly remodeled rooms don’t have access to the ac and you can’t open windows and it was 70 outside but felt like 90 in the room for no reason. also the mini fridge didn’t have a freezer tray. breakfast was lacking. staff was nice.

The room is clean and the hotel was great, but it’s still oakland, still sucks and the trains wake you up in the middle of the night
-
The location is great, only steps to Jack London Square. Property is old, dirty but super cheap. We just had to stay one night.
-
very bad hotel & not safe for Families. Room shows non smoking but so much smoke smell. I asked Hotel.com as well as Front desk to cancel after 30 mins after check in but they refused. I wish I wouldn't booked that hotel.

Expedia needs to remove this hotel from their site!! The customer service is terrible ! The photos look absolutely nothing like it does in real life BE AWARE!! It essentially feels like it is being turned into a shelter ! It is absolutely filthy , it is a safety and health hazard our room had an uncovered thermostat ! Again be AWARE and stay vigilant !!
