Hotel Parq Central

Location to airport and shuttle great. Friendly staff. Quick to Nob Hill Rough around edges 1 bed suite. Basic rooftop bar. Breakfast was also basic.

Good location off Route 25 and on Central Ave, the old route 66. You can reach just about any point of interest or restaurant in 5-15 minutes. Quiet building, very comfortable room with king bed, excellent shower with plenty of hot water. Rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors that can only be accessed by elevator with electronic room key. Continental breakfast on the first floor with a attendant to answer questions and refill. Outside seating too. 4th floor is the rooftop bar with a nice view and a small menu. Skip the 3 sliders, smashed thin near crunchy. Bar tenders and servers know what they are doing.

Everything about this property is amazing. To start the staff, so nice! Front desk to the bar! It is clean , spacious and and so beautifully decorated! Love, love this place!

Hotel in general and room was clean Our room was pretty tiny

Breakfast was better than many complimentary ones offered. Pre-made, ready to eat oatmeal might be nice in the future. Room was nice, very modern for 100 year old hotel. Good combination of historic charm and modern comforts. Rooftop bar was nice and it had food. The Bavarian Pretzel was great! Coffee station on each floor every morning was a nice touch and the water stations too. Enjoyed the hot tub. The light under the door from hallway to room is very bright. There was a large gap between bottom of room door and the floor and the bright hallway light kept us up. We eventually covered the opening with a towel and that helped greatly. The traffic noise. Hotel is near freeway, and our room was on east side of property so traffic could be heard late into the night. We did visit on a weekend.

Traveling through area, so we only stayed one-night. Our room faced the street and room was very noisy with sirens and road traffic, not great for light sleepers. Property is not convenient if looking for dining or shopping options. It is walkable to a point but there is not a lot around being directly off the highway. Most restaurants that are close either closed at 2p or didn't open until after 4p so no mid-day availability you will have to take hotels shuttle or drive. We went to Sawmill Markets which is a variety type eatery booths. This property does offer a nice breakfast and has a roof top restaurant with nice views.
