Best Western Knoxville Airport/Alcoa

I asked the clerk when I checked in, where was a good place to eat and he recommended Applebee but there were other fast food restaurants near the one he recommended.

Something happened with my debit card but it wasn’t a pay til you get there. Mind you I use the same card at the next hotel we were staying at and there was no problem. Anyways, we arrived and she said that they tried getting a hold of me and that they couldn’t so they sold my room. I told her that we were in the air and we just landed. She started to get aggressive with me and I told her I would just like to speak to the manager. We have nowhere to sleep tonight. She said she didn’t care she wasn’t going to bother the manager and that I could call tomorrow at 5 PM. She continued to yell at me I will never ever go back.

I love how spacious the double bed room is and the beds are clean and they are extremely comfortable and I love how the vanity is out in the room. That way someone can be showering and the other can be blow drying hair or getting ready. they have the best breakfast and a cool pancake machine. The indoor pool was very cool temperature. I don’t know if they don’t have any way to heat it up but they should.

Good location for the airport The bed was the worst thing I have ever slept On. Not comfortable at all

First of all I was charge the first night stay and I call and explain our flight was delayed and rescheduled so we end up miss the flight. The toilet in our room made noise all day and night. We didn’t had room service our whole stay I went to the front desk and ask and the guy told me it’s every other day which would of bring the day we left out. I had to take out my own trash the guy at the front desk told me I could throw it in the trash in the laundry room. I paid almost $600 for a miserable stay never no more. I left my number at the front desk and the many never called me about my refund which booking.com call and spoke to her plus they send her a email to approve so that I could get my money back for the day we wasn’t there.

Location to airport. The staff are so friendly. The beds are new and comfortable and I praise the cleaners for making clean what they are working with. No Bed bugs!! The hotel is old and dated. The carpet in the hall way is stained brown from so much wear. As soon as we opened the door to our room the mould and mildew smell hits. If it wasn’t midnight with two small children and we’d had our car I’d have moved hotels. The room feels wet to begin with. Pretty sure the mould on the roof has been painted over and the carpet felt wet under our feet. The aircon made funny noises all night. We’ve stayed at multiple Best Westerns and this was definitely a let down on their brand. Not the staff or cleanliness. But the hotel badly needs an update.

The staff was very helpful and kind. The tv controller didn’t work and the carpet was dirty in areas.

Nice size room. Pretty clean. Nice pool area. Close to restaurants. Bed was worn out. TV got very few channels. Shower had very little water pressure. Other guests up at all hours were loud in the hallway and letting the doors slam. I paid a little over $200 for one night. I think it should be better than this.
